Has anyone worn a bra over the last few days?

I haven't actually worn one in a week now and it's much more comfortable .

I gave up wearing underwired bras and bras that do up at the back a while ago. Crop top style ones all the way for me - I have fairly small breasts, but I also hate hanging loose.

ExpletiveDelighted · 31/03/2020 23:30

I tried a crop top one recently (Molke) but they are such a pain to get on and off compared to normal underwired ones. No more comfortable either and considerably leas flattering.

BackforGood · 01/04/2020 00:12

Yes. I always wear one. I never understand the common Mn trope of your bra being an instrument of torture that must be ripped joyfully from your body as soon as you’re through the front door in the evening

This ^
I don't get it.
Why are so many people wearing bras that are uncomfortable ? Confused
It would be uncomfortable to walk around for long without a bra, IME.

God yes! I can hear my Cooper’s ligaments creaking when I don’t. I hate not having a bra on unless I’m lying down.

QuestionableMouse · 01/04/2020 00:15

I haven't had one in for about three weeks 😂😂😂

Patterjack · 01/04/2020 00:15

A bra yes, actual clothes not so much. Pjs and tracky bottoms here.

OhLookHeKickedTheBall · 01/04/2020 00:21

It's been 84 years...

Ok more like 3 weeks. Dd has noted how low they are. I probably won't first in them come time to wear them again. I don't have conference calls to make so I may as well enjoy the time I don't have to see people except those who are used to my very low breasts me.

OhLookHeKickedTheBall · 01/04/2020 00:21

Fit, not first

Nanalisa60 · 01/04/2020 00:26

Yep still in a bra, but only wearing pjs or gym leggings!! Not had on make up on since lockdown started, washing hair but given up on blow drying it!!
I’m turning into Loretta slob. And eat far to much so getting fat!! Happy days!!

bengalcat · 01/04/2020 00:27

Only at work

FenellaVelour · 01/04/2020 00:28

Nope.
I’ve sometimes put on a crop top/bralette thing if I’m on a video call.
I am also big of nork.
It’s been bliss to not be strapped in by industrial equipment.

Pipandmum · 01/04/2020 00:28

About half the time. I'm also only showering every other day.

EmmiJay · 01/04/2020 00:31

Nope and its wonderful. I have proper jugs and the relief of not hoisting them up is lovely. I was on a video call with my mum and she said I looked slimmer without the boobs under my chin!

Lua · 01/04/2020 00:32

Glad to see I'm not the only one going au naturel Smile

Top tip for conferences: have a nice volumunous scarf by the computer.

Covers everything up and look elegant. Unwrap after call, and voila'

dellacucina · 01/04/2020 00:32

I have tiny breasts and feel horribly uncomfortable physically but also psychologically exposed without a bra. So yes.

CeriseClementine · 01/04/2020 00:35

I haven't dried or straightened my hair (I wash and let it air dry) or worn any make up at all for a fortnight now. Haven't worn a bra either!

The washing we're generating as a family is fairly minimal too...I find myself wearing the same pair of leggings for a few days and the kids are wearing clothes for two or three or until it's noticeably dirty. DH is living in his favourite two hoodies and PJ bottoms and alternating every couple of days.

It's bloody lovely!

I have a cardi on the back of my chair ready to put on and cover my nips when needed Grin

justjuggling · 01/04/2020 00:59

No bra, no make up, glasses rather than contacts, mainly pyjamas. I am thoroughly enjoying this particular aspect of wfh!!!

POP7777777 · 01/04/2020 01:11

Nope!

DramaAlpaca · 01/04/2020 01:18

Of course I've worn a bra. If it fits properly a bra is not uncomfortable. I'd be more uncomfortable without one and I'm not particularly big of boob.

I'm not working but I get up, shower, get dressed (casual clothes but definitely including a bra) every day. I'm trying to keep my routine going.

Thegreymethod · 01/04/2020 01:21

Not once! But it's been weeks not days! I can't wear one in the house I don't know why..... I don't find them uncomfortable when I wear one outside the house but as soon as I'm in it's off!!

ChanklyBore · 01/04/2020 01:30

I am one of the people that learned to measure my bra properly on MN.

It’s 1.30am (really must go to bed) I am entirely alone, and on lockdown.

Of course I am wearing a bra. SO MUCH more comfortable than not wearing one.

Who can cope with random breasts? Not me. And mine are only small (E cup, as an amusing nod to those who learned to measure their breasts on MN)

YourWinter · 01/04/2020 01:39

Ummm.... why would you care what anyone else wears under their clothes, now or any other time?

BuggersMuddle · 01/04/2020 01:46

Yes, I'm a G cup although on some days I've worn a bralet or sports crop top.

I did piss and moan about the articles warning about 'sagging on lockdown' because while I need one to work comfortably, YMMV. Also tbh the media shouldn't be encouraging women to worry about saggy boobs when there's so much else to worry about!

Dowser · 01/04/2020 05:37

Gawd yes, always and underwired too
