Just in case anyone's looking for one, they're reduced to £55 and there is a promotion for 40% off which runs out today

I can't see 40% off

puguin86 · 31/03/2020 13:34

Neither can I ☹️

viques · 31/03/2020 13:37

What is a fire hd? Is it like a fire stk, or a fire lghtr , or a fire ngin?

pippitysqueakity · 31/03/2020 13:43

Where did you buy it, please?

OffToSingapore · 31/03/2020 14:00

You can also get the same model, but with screensaver adverts, for £26.99 (from £44.99). I'm extremely tempted by the yellow one, but my very old Fire tablet is still in working order, so I shouldn't really...

It's a great price though, thanks for posting.

I claimed the voucher code a few days ago but only paid today, maybe the voucher is no longer showing up on amazon, it was on the actual listing its self

I think the code was FIREPROMO (all capitals)

You can also get the same model, but with screensaver adverts, for £26.99

Could you post the link please, I can't find that anywhere

OffToSingapore · 31/03/2020 14:30

@coconuttelegraph www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0794ZL74C/?tag=mumsnetforu03-21

The promotion is account specific apparently, so won't work for everyone.

coconuttelegraph · 31/03/2020 14:33

Thank you @OffToSingapore but that link is 44.99 for me

OffToSingapore · 31/03/2020 15:35

@coconuttelegraph Maybe see if anyone else in your family is eligible? If they are then the FIREPROMO code will take 40% off at the checkout.

LynetteScavo · 31/03/2020 15:47

Mine came up as £26 Shock

I want to replace DDs kindle and apparently it's not as good for reading, but I'm hoping it's not awful. Eek!

ADreamOfGood · 31/03/2020 15:49

@viques could I order a fire mn do you think? Wink

LittleBoyJuly2020 · 31/03/2020 16:02

Hasn't worked for me. So annoying!

coconuttelegraph · 31/03/2020 16:27

I do actually already have one but would have bought another for £26

@LynetteScavo I read on mine every day and I find it fine, it's heavier than the more expensive ones and it doesn't really work outside but for the price I can't fault mine

GloGirl · 31/03/2020 16:40

This is showing as available for me! Thank you!!

CadburysTastesVileNow · 31/03/2020 16:51

Frustrating! Wonder what the magic combo is?

Oddbutnotodd · 31/03/2020 16:56

I just put it in my basket at £44.99 and it automatically deducted an extra £18 from the total. I don’t need it but definitely works using your link. Thanks

Oddbutnotodd · 31/03/2020 16:57

You have to proceed to checkout to see the discount

CadburysTastesVileNow · 31/03/2020 17:02

I was right down to the 'go' button and no sign of a discount ...

Fckingfuming · 31/03/2020 17:07

Worked for me thanks!

Fckingfuming · 31/03/2020 17:08

£26.99

NC2605 · 31/03/2020 17:12

Not working for me either Sad

AllTheseThingsThatIHaveNotDone · 31/03/2020 17:12

Cannot get it to work sadly - do you have to be a Prime member?

AllTheseThingsThatIHaveNotDone · 31/03/2020 17:13

Those that have got it to work, are you Amazon Prime?
