Cheri I genuinely have no idea. I am old enough to know that when someone disappears so quickly from public view it is usually because those around them and ‘in the know’ realise that that discretion is the only option.

I just think it’s odd that he’s leaving Michael G and Boris to keep the show on the road. Is it because he’s abandoned them to wait out the Brexit shit show (and subsequent CV19 trauma) or has something truly unfortunate happened?

I think his career in public life was finished when he was seen lolling about looking bored during a parliamentary debate, and then he made those awful comments about the Grenfell tragedy. Hopefully he won't pop up again. But a pp is right - he is probably busy doing some disaster capitalism and making a fortune out of the current situation sadly.

I think some of the 'baddies' like him and Priti Patel are not being brought out during the coronavirus so they don't make people even more traumatised.
