I assume this is due to defensible developments in his life. Anyone care to comment?

Nanny will be living with him like she did when he was a little boy. Sadly I think he's busy manipulating stock markets to his advantage.

Does Boris really not like him? Never heard that before.

motorcyclenumptiness · 28/03/2020 23:23

Whenever I see him I always think somewhere a silent movie is missing its villain so maybe he's busy growing a moustache to twirl next time he's tying Gloria Swanson to the railway tracks accompanied by frantic piano music

PotholeParadise · 28/03/2020 23:59

Someone has sat on him before he ruins the Conservative party's public image. I may completely disagree with them, but plenty of people think the government is doing a good job. JRM has the power to destroy that impression like no other MP.

pippishortsocks · 29/03/2020 00:20

I doubt anybody likes him.

Thistlepicker · 29/03/2020 00:32

I’m strangely attracted to him. No kink-shaming please.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 29/03/2020 02:14

I was just saying to OH yesterday that JRM has disappeared. I keep waiting for him to appear on the news saying that he's too intelligent to catch Corona.

TheMotherofAllDilemmas · 29/03/2020 02:18

I have not seen or heard from him for ages. Bet he is trying to make as much money as possible in this crisis.

PigletJohn · 29/03/2020 03:13

Perhaps he doesn't get on with Cummings.

I suspect nobody does, except (temporarily) the Buffoon.

tenredthings · 29/03/2020 03:33

Hes probably hiding on a private Hebridean island bewailing the advancing financial crash, watching his obscene wealth vanish before his eyes.

TheThingWithFeathers · 29/03/2020 03:42

He's at home watching Foyle's War, according to Twitter my sources.

Piccalino3 · 29/03/2020 04:34

I just said to DH the other day that we hadn't seen him for a while. Long may it continue I say!

Liverbird77 · 29/03/2020 16:55

He was in Parliament the other day...about six seats away from Boris.

Nonnymum · 29/03/2020 17:02

He is leader of the House of Commons which isnt always a high profile role . And at the moment the House isnt sitting so he wouldnt really be involved in briefings like Gove and other Secretarys of State.
I wouldnt read too much in it to be honest. Just be thankful we dont need to listen to him as well as contend with everything else.

Frownette · 29/03/2020 17:25

@RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie Grin

But of course

CheriLittlebottom · 29/03/2020 17:31

Nonny small mercies!

Rosecatter · 29/03/2020 17:51

It's great that we're not seeing or hearing from him, but remember, he's still getting paid for doing nothing

hopeishere · 29/03/2020 18:55

JRM is new money. Even though he'd like you to think he was old money.
