The table is vast, there's wine, soft drinks, tea, coffee, there's a massive shoulder of lamb in the slow cooker with loads of garlic, rosemary, and thyme.
We'll need more food, (obviously) puddings, drink,
can anyone play an instrument for a sing along?
We'll start at midday, all welcome GrinWine

Sounds lovely. I’ll bring some cheese and chutney. Can’t play an instrument but happy to help clear up after!

Slazengerbag · 21/03/2020 10:07

I will bring a pavlova and I can play the flute (badly)

KnittingSister · 21/03/2020 10:21

We can sing if we can't play and tidiers and washer uppers always welcome Smile
Pavlova sounds fab, what's in it?

I do a mean lamb gravy and I'll start a rice pudding off on low. I'll have a rummage around for the indoor fireworks I've put somewhere

KnittingSister · 21/03/2020 17:13

HarrySnotter that all sounds eminently suitable, my mouth is watering Grin

I don't like lamb, sorry but I'll bring a huge cottage pie and some beef stew with herb dumplings. Dragon pie too for any vegan mums.

Apple & choc chip crumble for afters.

KnittingSister · 21/03/2020 17:32

iklboo Don't worry about not liking lamb, there should be plenty of other stuff to share and thank you for remembering the vegan food. What is dragon pie, please?

I’ll bring the Daffodil DaffodilDaffodil. There’s are some for everybody to take home with them.

I’ve got fresh baked bread rolls too.

We3kingsoforientareandabump · 21/03/2020 18:18

I have 7 bottles of vodka in the fridge I can contribute. I've not been stockpiling I swear they were all xmas gifts 🙈

KnittingSister · 21/03/2020 18:29

7 bottles vodka will go down very well Grin
And yes, I'll be grateful for the loo roll offers, with all these guests. I may need a bigger house, but I like a crowd!

A quiz for entertainment, sounds good, will keep the conversation going, along with the alcohol.

Pie, wine and fresh bread, I'm getting hungry, all this sounds delicious Grin
