As title this is just for fun

If you did join in with looting where would you go?
I'm not meaning food but everyday stuff that people take for no gain .
I will start ( as expected) I will loot Waterstones as I love reading and reckon I will need something to pass the time, plus the medical books I need cost a fortune!

Waterstones
M&S Foodhall
Rigby & Peller so that I can be self isolated with pert, pointy and well supported boobs
And probably a hat shop for when my roots are scary.

T0tallyFuckedUpFamily · 18/03/2020 12:35

It has to be Pets at Home or Jolleys. Loads of food for my three elderly pets and toys for my now gone under doggy daycare, for when this hell is over and I can start up again. Loads of toys, just poured into the middle of the room, with all the excited pups bounding around. 🥰

madcatladyforever · 18/03/2020 12:36

I need a new tv and a fridge so probably Currys.

HathorX · 18/03/2020 12:37

Hotel Chocolat. No contest.

Mlou32 · 18/03/2020 12:39

Debenhams or another department store for all the lovely expensive skincare products!

PhantomErik · 18/03/2020 12:44

Ooh I'd love free reign in Waterstones!! So would DS9. When all the talk of staying home he checked he had a good stash of books to keep him going Grin luckily I've bought The Heroes of Olympus series & Kane Chronicles so he'll be ok for a bit. He's read all the Percy Jackson books so far.

The Lego shop would be the next stop! I'd love to have some of the Christmas sets to use as decorations, was planning on picking them up through the year & starting a tradition of building them with the DC whilst listening to Christmas music.

SeaViewBliss · 18/03/2020 12:45

Can I share something embarassing? I love a post apocolyptic book or film. I also suffer fairly frequently with insomnia.

One of my techniques when wide a wake in the early hours is to imagine walking through my local high street which is deserted and imagine all the things I could find that would be useful for survival. I start in Miletts to get a massive rucksack and proceed through every shop.

Most of the stuff I pick up in my head is complete shite and would not help me last more than about 3 days! When we are actually in shops in real life, I imagine going in there when there's been an incident and I think about what I would take and look for places that would be good to set up camp!

I need to get out more which is ironic at the moment!

ToastyFingers · 18/03/2020 12:48

Definitely Curry's. Would happily replace my old half-working fridge and washing machine. It would be hard to loot those though, I'm 5"2 and not especially strong.

AdoptedBumpkin · 18/03/2020 12:48

@PhantomErik Likewise, if possible I'd take a large bag to Waterstones.

PeterPanGoesWrong · 18/03/2020 12:50

Selfridges, they stock loads of lovely gins.

Then I’ll just lock myself in my house and wait for this to all blow over.

T0tallyFuckedUpFamily · 18/03/2020 12:50

Actually I’d also loot the local hunting and gaming shop, so I could get a couple of crossbows for protection.

MagnoliaJustice · 18/03/2020 12:51

Hobbycraft, The Works, Waterstones for craft stuff and books to read, then I'd run into Boots and help myself to lots of luxury skin care items and bath oils.

CigarsofthePharoahs · 18/03/2020 12:53

Hobbycraft, but only because I used to work there. Also lots of stuff to keep my kids busy. I could make a fort out of the big bottles of PVA.

CigarsofthePharoahs · 18/03/2020 12:54

@SeaViewBliss have you considered a supermarket distribution warehouse? Smile

sixeightfour · 18/03/2020 12:55

John Lewis and Harrods

NoBoojustNo · 18/03/2020 12:55

John Lewis
Debenhams
Boots
Space NK
Kiehls Apothecary
Mac
L'Occitane

I see a it of a theme developing Blush

InOtterNews · 18/03/2020 12:56

Moleskin shops (I love a notebook)
Waterstones
Apple
Molten Brown
Whitestuff & FatFace (for clothes that fit me without the need to try them on)

sestras · 18/03/2020 12:56

Poundland. All the snacks, juice, colouring books, crafty items I could ever need.

T0tallyFuckedUpFamily · 18/03/2020 12:57

have you considered a supermarket distribution warehouse?

There an idea. I would just move into an amazon warehouse. Secure all entrances and find what weapons they ship, to guard the place. 😁

AndNoneForGretchenWieners · 18/03/2020 12:57

Hobbycraft and the rag market in Brum. Almost finished my latest crochet project...

hiddenmnetter · 18/03/2020 12:59

Probably a Curry's. I would like a gaming rig but cannot justify the cost (or time commitment) with children. So a ahem gratis PC would be most welcome. And some isolation to use it would be a treat. Just need the kids to be cared for elsewhere...

spiderlight · 18/03/2020 13:00

Waterstones, Waitrose, M&S food hall and our local posh pet shop to get artisan biscuits and a big squishy bed for our dog (to go with the four beds he already has).

HonestlyItsFine · 18/03/2020 13:01

The local (ish) independent shop that was busted on facebook for bulk buying hand gel cheaply and selling it for £7.99. (per 100ml).
Fuck that shop.

fairydustandpixies · 18/03/2020 13:06

I'd start in Hobbycraft, then raid the Perfume Shop, then Lakeland for all their fab 'stuff' that you just know you need but don't really need and then finally clear out somewhere like CEX for DVDs and gadgets. I'm okay for books as I've got a free app to borrow books from my local library so you're welcome to Waterstones!! Grin

Is that a bit greedy?? Got rather excited for a moment!! Blush

RaspberryBubblegum · 18/03/2020 13:09

Primark, Disney Store & Lego store 😍😍
