I'm just about to make flapjacks & something else, but can't decide what something else should be!

If you're baking today, what are you making?

Chocolate Guiness cake for my son’s birthday tomorrow

Focaccia and soup is our standard Sunday lunch. Best bread ever, if I do say so myself.

Chocolate chip muffins

White choc chip and sour cherry brownies, banana cake and my favourite - coffee and walnut cake. Comfort baking.

I used to make foccacia all the time for lunch. Used to layer it, one layer of dough, then lots of cheese, then another layer of dough ontop and pesto on top of that, then bake. It was amazing!

Ohhhh yes you absolutely can’t get much better than focaccia.

DD made the Hairy Bikers spiced apple cake and also made oat cookies.
Cake was lovely, can't comment on the cookies as oats don't agree with me.

Lemon drizzle cake here.

I made an apple and molasses loaf cake. Very comforting sort of cake.

Simple Victoria Sponge. Emptied the freezer of black currants yesterday and made too much jelly for the jars we had, so had to make a cake to use some up!
