I have to tidy and clean and I don't want to before kitchen man gets here :(

The economic hit on my small business, which is seasonal (summer being the peak) and reliant on public mass gatherings to be profitable.

Keeping a roof over my head as a result

IndieRar · 16/03/2020 23:10

Our mortgage was supposed to be approved on Friday and no word yet.

catindahat · 16/03/2020 23:15

Lots of people coughing and not bother to wear a mask!

AppleFruitloaf66 · 17/03/2020 01:56

Feel like everyone is against me at the moment.
Colleagues, a friend who is not really a friend anymore, and dh (a bit).
Stressed with the lot of them.

And worst of all, I’m turning into the person I hoped I’d never turn into.
My Mother who I’m NC with. My life is turning out exactly like hers has, the similarities are frightening. It’s hit me like a ton of bricks lately, and I want to be alone, away from everyone.
On top of that, I work for the NHS and with this CV.
I’m off this week, and I hope at some point I might be able to relax.
Sorry, long post.

And 💐 to all of you on here also with your stresses.
Hopefully a problem shared will become a problem halved xxx

Corona and the impending time bomb of death and many people seemingly not that bothered to stop doing stuff,

Happyoptamus
Walk in knowing you are in the right place Go and release all your fears and worries you will walk out feeling lighter and with more clarity. Well done for actively looking to help yourself.
I am sure it will really help as a pp mentioned.

Trying to get my son home from New Zealand is massively stressing me out.
Worried about my parents health.

loubieloo4 · 17/03/2020 03:45

My wonderful dh (39), he has stage 4 terminal bowel cancer with a life expectancy of less than 12 months.

That CV-19 is going to stop him having treatment (it could be riskier to have treatment at the minute). The thought that his last months could be stuck in the house going crazy, that we can't even do the simple things on his/our "fuck" it list that we made with the kids. The 3 week trip just for the 2 of us abroad to have some much needed time alone will no longer be going ahead. The memories we will be missing out on making.

It's just all gone to shit and I'm pissed off with the world right now.

Casino218 · 17/03/2020 04:18

@loubieloo4 I'm sorry to hear that it must be so tough for you right now. Thinking of you x

HeronLanyon · 17/03/2020 05:22

Lou Thanks

YukoandHiro · 18/03/2020 08:41

That's really crap, so sorry you're going through this xx

CandiceSucksCandy · 18/03/2020 11:01

I'm not worried about corona virus in itself, I'm sure I will catch it at some point.
But the shockwave effects of it have kept me awake since 2am.
I lost my job yesterday as my place of work had to close. It will probably fold during the closure.
I love my job and my income is now 0 as I am a freelancer and zero hour worker.
I'm hoping the bank will be kind and freeze some payments and our mortgage company will too.
Last week I was excited about all the new contracts I had landed, the holiday we had booked, a party for someone I loved coming up.
Now I'm going through my belongings wondering what to ebay first.

Personally
Covid 19 in general
Being on lockdown with the kids one with asd, who needs to run energy off everyday and will drive us mad after half a day. And will verbally abuse and physically hurt us if too frustrated and wound up.
Supporting elderly parents who have dementia and other issues during a lockdown.
Selling my home as per financial order during the Covid 19.
Whether i will still have a job as Cv 19 affecting it.
Paying the bills and mortgage with less income knowing that although ex on mortgage he will refuse to help even in emergency.

Generally
Hospital and medical staff situation and concern for their families.
Homeless people especially in lockdown.
Foodbanks being stocked for those who need it. I Always try to put one item in.
