Takeaway/fast food

I’m probably Going to be flamed for this thread but I’m trying to avert a MH crisis so doing what I can to be diverted from topping myself.

What’s your favourite takeaway and fast food?

Takeaway- chicken satay and spicy veg rolls in sweet chilli sauce from local Thai

Fast food- zinger tower burger from kfc

Neither of your choices for me - I don't eat foreign food and judging from the smell outside KFCs have always assumed everything was fatty and greasy so never eaten their food. My choice would be fish and chips or a margherita pizza. Sorry, not much help.

Fast food - naked burrito with coriander rice, both beans, roast veggies, cheese, gauc, medium salsa from Tortilla.

Takeaway - tofu katsu, miso soup, and spring rolls from a local Japanese fusion place.

@SilverySurfer you don't eat "foreign food" but you'll eat a pizza. Riiiiight...

Neither fish and chips nor pizza are British foods.

We are having a Chinese takeaway tonight-

Prawn toast, spring rolls
Crispy shredded beef in Cantonese sauce
Chicken curry
Rice
Prawn crackers

Indian: Onion Baaji, Chicken Korma, Pilau Rice and Peshwari Naan.

Chinese: Spring Rolls, Chicken and Blackbean sauce and green pepper and cashew nuts with prawn crackers and boiled rice

Thai: Chicken Massaman curry and spring rolls.

I feel so boring but I likes what I like 😂

I love fish and chips, especially if its haddock rather than cod, with lots of S&V.

For fast food it has to be Burger King, probably a chicken royale though I love the chicken fries too. Mcdonalds just can't compare at all, especially on fries.

Indian Takeaway - Chicken Dhansak and lemon rice.

Fast Food - hot wings forever.

Fast food:
McDonald’s - chicken and bacon wrap, large fries, cheeseburger and sprite

Not a fan of KFC or Burger King.

Takeaway:
Local Pizza place - double pepperoni, chips and cherry coke or a lamb doner kebab (very rarely!)

Chinese - chicken chow mein, egg fried rice, duck pancakes, chicken balls, chips, prawn crackers - a bit of each.

Local chicken place (similar to Nando’s) lemon and herb chicken wrap or pitta with mayo, lettuce and cucumber, chips and coke.

Wish we were having takeaway now!

Yep i eat margherita pizza - I chose the word 'foreign' for brevity - if you prefer I could have said 'I don't eat 'Chinese, Indian, Thai, Greek, Turkish, Japanese, Mexican, Cuban. Caribbean, Polish, Russian, German, Italian (apart from pizza), Tibetan, Korean, Algerian, French, Portuguese, Scandinavian, Egyptian pasta, rice +++' but didn't want to bore you or me.

Bloody hell, you are really missing out, what do you eat?

Well obviously I don't think I'm missing out or I would eat it.

I was a child of the 1940s/50s and have basically continued eating the same things since then: roast beef, lamb, pork, chicken, liver and bacon, steak and kidney stew and pies, lamb or pork chops, sausage or lamb chop toad in the hole, cold meat, bubble & squeak and salad, gammon, ham egg and chips, sirloin steak, lamb shanks, shepherds pie, salmon, fish and chips, hamburgers, ham hocks, the list goes on. Oh and the occasional pizza. I don'[t starve.

Take away - poppadoms covered in mint sauce followed chicken pathia & egg fried rice. Maybe even meat samosa if I'm being greedy
Fast food - Big tasty & fries with curry sauce! If no big tasty I'll settle for Big Mac.

I also bloody love a Greggs though. Corned beef pasty followed by the jam donut with pink icing.

Take away: prawn dhansak or saag paneer, pilau rice, samosas, poppadums with dips. I really miss Indian take-aways since DH turned vegan and they don't sell anything he eats

Fast food: fish and chips from a fish and chip shop

Now I am even more disappointed by the rice and veg one pot thing I am actually having for dinner.

Well I got my takeaway!
Not the curry as ds doesn't eat it but we had
Cheesy garlic bread
Curly fries
And a farmhouse pizza-chicken, chorizo, bacon and red onion and it's a cream sauce not a tomato one-delicious!

We enjoyed our chinese. I had mixed hors d'oeuvres and special chow mein.
This article made me want to support chinese takeaways. Any excuse!
