Good News Thread...

Everything is so uncertain at the moment so I thought it would be nice to have a good news thread.
I had two pieces of news today. Firstly ds2 has been offered the chance to be a' extra in Jude Law's next film with Ruth Wilson.
Also he finished his painting at his art class and I'm buying it...

That painting is gorgeous and I don't blame you for buying it.

Thankyou... His art teacher has recently been voted special needs art teacher of the year.. She is fab.

It's sunny today! I know that's not technically my news, but it's positive!

I’ve just been asked to display my art in a proper gallery in Marylebone!

I'm having quite a stressful time for other reasons but...

I'm stupidly happy to have received my amazon order today and got a freebie!

Just one problem which I'm hoping you guys can help with...

Hi @Elderflower14, I agree with @DoctorTwo, that painting is gorgeous. I've been staring at it for ages. I love yellow.
Obviously a future Picasso in your household.

My good news is my new Pointador pup will be ready to come home in a month. I've been so lost for the last couple of months without the company of a Ddog.
Just need to think of a name for him.

Tell your son to keep up the good work and soon he'll have a exhibition. I'd buy one.

Is it a pot holder Graphista? Does it seem impermeable to heat, and offer a really good grip?

My good news is:

1. My eczema seems to be less aggressive since I started using the dog shampoo. As an added bonus I can be very confident that I am also completely free from ticks, fleas and other external parasites . . . .

2. God seems to have sent us a replacement blackbird for the one the cat got a couple of weeks ago. He is very handsome but a bit of a slick operator because he moved in on the widow before her eggs were even cool.

BTW - that painting is gorgeous. I love both orange cats and harvest mice, so if anyone breaks into your house, and the only thing stolen is The Painting, you will know it is me!

It's a heat safe tablemat for a pot or a pan. I've got one just like that!!!

I was going on holiday with someone challenging to be around. The current situation means the trip is off, and it's not my fault! Yay.

We have a rather large wood pigeon visitor we call Fat Bob. The cats stay a healthy distance away from him.

Ds2 is so excited about the film role. Its an in family joke that JL is called Jude Law yum yum by me......!! 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣
