Is this okay to wear for work

I have a black funnel top from Topshop however you can see my bra underneath. I don’t know if I’m being paranoid but do you think it looks too ‘night out’

I won’t be showing any flesh as it’s clearly high neck, plus I’ll just be pairing it with black jeans. Also, I’m small chested like the model so you can’t see any cleavage

I work corporate office, but we have a ‘dress for the day’ policy (e.g. jeans fine when you have no meetings)

No way.

Unless corporate office is a euphemism for escort agency.

peachgreen · 12/03/2020 08:53

Just put a black vest top underneath and it'll be fine.

ExpletiveDelighted · 12/03/2020 08:54

I'm pretty laid back when it comes to office wear but, no, just no!

GaaaaarlicBread · 12/03/2020 08:57

No definitely not . I work in an office and we are quite laid back but I’d be pulled aside for that. Maybe with a vest top underneath ! But not like that

ShirleyPhallus · 12/03/2020 08:58

@DressingGownofDoom “ps, your tits look nice in that top”

madcatladyforever · 12/03/2020 08:58

No, it's never ok to see underwear at work.

Rainallnight · 12/03/2020 09:00

Absolutely not. Maybe with a vest underneath.

Somewheredreamingofcheesecake · 12/03/2020 09:02

My workplace has any anything goes dress code (jeans, tracksuits all fine). Even there that top wouldn't be appropriate! You don't show your bra at work! Or outside the house except on a night out if you really want to.

SallyWD · 12/03/2020 09:03

Definitely not. Only if you wear a vest underneath.

SinglePringle · 12/03/2020 09:07

My industry is really laid back about such things and a really bright neon bra under a white too wouldn’t raise any eyebrows as it’s a more ‘fun’ look.

The combo shown in the photo is too ‘lingerie’ and evening. I’d wear it with a cami underneath.

CherryPavlova · 12/03/2020 09:07

No.Why would you want your underwear on display at work?

TakemedowntoPotatoCity · 12/03/2020 09:11

Paid it with a black cami best and it will be fine. Otherwise be prepared for professional suicide...

TakemedowntoPotatoCity · 12/03/2020 09:12

Paid = pair, best= vestConfused

edwinbear · 12/03/2020 09:14

Unless corporate office is a euphemism for escort agency

@PurpleDaisies Grin Grin Grin

SomeoneElseEntirelyNow · 12/03/2020 09:15

Hard no - visible underwear at work is NEVER ok

SeriouslyRetro · 12/03/2020 09:16

You say there’s no skin, but there’s the illusion of lots of skin. You can see her belly button!

Only okay if you’d wear with a high vest top, as a sort of lining.

GinNotGym19 · 12/03/2020 09:17

It’s fine with a vest underneath but you can’t wear a see through top to work really

notthemum · 12/03/2020 09:19

Christ, definitely not.
Going out Yes. It'll look great.
Work NO!

LolaSmiles · 12/03/2020 09:19

Absolutely not appropriate for the office.

MegaClutterSlut · 12/03/2020 09:24

Erm no, why would you even want to wear it to work Confused

Changedmyname84 · 12/03/2020 09:25

Erm ha ha no sorry OP - but yes I do think with a vest probably fine. But still I’m not sure.

IdblowJonSnow · 12/03/2020 09:30

No!
Put a vest top under it or just wear something else!

Whydoesit · 12/03/2020 09:37

Definitely not!

feebeecat · 12/03/2020 09:41

If you can see up it, down it or through it, it’s not workwear.
