Starting a new thread because the old one is full, I never thought when I started it that it would a) be moved to Classics and b) help so many people.

I’m signing in the night watch. I’ll take any worries and tuck them up with me and the cat for the night. We’re good at snuggling them into submission.

Beach , I’ll take some worry weight too . I’m in ‘finished night duty this morning so this feels like lunchtime ‘ mode , so pop those worries over to me and the spotty loon . She’ll squash them into manageable size x

I am on duty for the evening. I will gladly take the worries, anxiety and sorrow that may have somehow escaped my fellow holders.

I will hold them gently and cuddle them in, should they try to rise up. You all just rest. That's the way. Shhhh.

I'm fretting a bit about everything going on. The virus, David Cameron's neighbours house getting blown up (no-one was hurt), brexit, Harry's mental health...I should back away from the papers, they're full of doom

Life has been testing and it's not all worked out, but the vital bit (a baby born with issues) seems to be doing well, and on the nights I've been a-wittering I've thought of this thread and known that if I'd had the oomph in me to ask then someone would've responded, and that helped me get some decent sleep, which meant I could support those in need.

So, I'm back with arms open wide and ready to support any one who needs it.

I need to read the thread from the start, I stumbled across it last night when my head was mashed up from too much news. That'll learn me!

May I ask for some help? I'm trying to put my firm on essential staff only and it is a nightmare. People are all getting on my last nerve

Partner is in some kind of crisis but it's come to a head and I think our family life together has to end. Just don't know how.
