Who’s would you have and why?

I think I’d have Annie Macs. It’s so low and husky I love it!

I don't know but I don't like my voice or accent

EssentialHummus · 10/03/2020 20:45

No idea about a particular person but I’d rock a Scottish accent!

TheMemoryLingers · 10/03/2020 20:46

Joanna Lumley

ByAllMeansMoveAtAGlacialPace · 10/03/2020 20:47

Julie Andrews. Her accent, her speaking voice and her singing voice.
She's a Queen.

puds11 · 10/03/2020 20:49

Oooh yeah Joanne Lumley is a good one!

I have to switch off the radio if I hear Annie Mac!

I like Claudia Winkleman's voice, but tbh, it's similar to my own so maybe I just like mine.

stophuggingme · 10/03/2020 20:51

Barbra Streisand
Speaking and singing

I’d waft around my house holding a gin and tonic whilst singing “No. ore Tears”

Or KD Lang speaking and singing
Or Tori Amos

FickleTickle · 10/03/2020 20:53

Adele's please!

ShirleyPhallus · 10/03/2020 20:53

Emma Stone

Hedgesfullofbirds · 10/03/2020 20:59

Richard Burton - deep, rich, like dark chocolate, sonorous and mellifluous. Just listen to his narration on 'Under Milkwood' or 'War of the Worlds'!

Hedgesfullofbirds · 10/03/2020 21:02

Should point out that I am male, by the way!

TheSherryEmoji · 10/03/2020 21:05

Cecilia Bartoli.

Manzana · 10/03/2020 21:07

I'd like either an Edinburgh accent or Clive James's voice, it just sounds reassuring

Dowser · 10/03/2020 22:06

Singing voice?
Mama cass or maddie Pryor
Second Julie Andrews
Whitney Houston
Sarah bright man

Dowser · 10/03/2020 22:08

I’m quite happy to speak like I do, although I’m a succour first a welsh accent or posh geordie
I think a French woman speaking English with her lovely accent sounds amazing.

SimplySteveRedux · 10/03/2020 22:09

Tom Hanks, or David Attenborough's.

Dowser · 10/03/2020 22:09

My husband of course speaks like Alan rickman..or would do if I could wave my magic wand

OhNoNoNoNotThatOne · 10/03/2020 22:12

I'd like Emma Stone's too! She has such an interesting sounding voice.

Slightly off topic, but talking in my head (I'm a verbal thinker) I'd like Alan Rickman or Patrick Stewart please.

flatpack1 · 10/03/2020 22:12

Jean Luc Picard surely

AGoodPodcastAndANiceCupOfTea · 10/03/2020 22:14

Mariella Frostrup every time!

JollyGiraffe12 · 10/03/2020 22:14

Carla Bruni or Morgan Freeman

puds11 · 10/03/2020 22:24

Oooh I do love a bit of Alan Rickman. What a voice!

EmmiJay · 10/03/2020 22:34

I've been told I sound like Joanna Lumley! I have a lower husky voice (desite my DM saying "that'll be due to all the cigarettes"🤣) but with street twang. I'd love to sound like Holly Willoughby, kind of tinkly.

ILikePaperHats · 10/03/2020 23:15

Mariella Frostrup sounds like she smokes 40 a day. I hate husky voices that are probably caused by smoking.
