Hi, I’m currently eating the above for my breakfast which are leftovers from last night.

It’s bloody gorgeous and I’m enjoying it but feel like it’s a bit weird.

Please tell me the weirdest thing you’ve eaten for breakfast to make me feel less of an oddball Smile

Thanks!

I agree, cold pasta is the champion of breakfast foods. I'll often make extra just so there's leftovers for breakfast...

AlviesMam · 07/03/2020 08:42

Yes!!! I'm going to buy one today now!

jomaIone · 07/03/2020 08:43

@Rewy there's always one martyr 🤔

When I was pregnant I absolutely loved cinnamon raisin bagels with streaky smoked bacon and a cold wet apple slices suuuuper thin 🤭

crazydiamond222 · 07/03/2020 08:47

i like it when I stay in big hotels in asia and I can have a buffet breakfast of curry, sushi, dim sum, crispy bacon with pancakes and fruit.

fairydustandpixies · 07/03/2020 08:52

I've just had a packet of 'nice n spicy' Nik Naks for my breakfast 😂

stairgates · 07/03/2020 08:54

Poppadoms and cold curry here:)

Pinkywoo · 07/03/2020 08:56

I've just had leftover courgette and salmon pasta!

Roselilly36 · 07/03/2020 08:56

We have jam roly poly with custard planned for Sunday pudding, can’t wait. I could easily eat it for breakfast.

Bombaybunty · 07/03/2020 09:20

Left over trifle is the best breakfast in the world!

GetTheSprinkles · 07/03/2020 09:26

Apple tart and custard for me yesterday! Havent had today's breakfast yet as my 15wo has been nursing for the last hour but I am starving!

Judashascomeintosomemoney · 07/03/2020 09:31

Apart from the usual leftover Chinese or Indian once or twice over the years, the oddest thing was when we ordered scrambled eggs on toast in a cafe in Singapore. It arrived, and the bread was a slightly sweet one, sort of brioche but not quite, and a large dollop of raspberry jam on the side. It was weirdly delicious and my DDs sometimes make scrambled eggs, toast and jam for breakfast now. 🤷‍♀️

Rewy · 07/03/2020 17:37

@ jomaIone it was a jokeHmm

Frownette · 07/03/2020 17:58

I craved that all day OP

Heaviestdirtyestsoul · 07/03/2020 18:25

I read this on the way to Beamish- wishing I had jam roly poly for breakfast. Have spent today suggesting that Mr Heaviest uses his cheffing skills to produce me one ready for the morning. Now we are home he has disappeared off to the kitchen! I'm hopeful 😁

Heaviestdirtyestsoul · 07/03/2020 18:50

Forget the feeling hopeful, the son-of-a-gun has come back in with a dish of soup and is sniffing and groaning. I fear he has a cold coming on. He is shuffling.

Frownette · 07/03/2020 18:53

Tell him the only known cure is jam roly poly

BrowncoatWaffles · 07/03/2020 19:01

A cinema ice cream sundae, three different flavoured scoops, hot fudge sauce, whipped cream, chopped nuts and a cherry on the top.

(DH and I sneak off to the cinema every few months while the kids are at school / nursery. It is glorious).

I only really like leftovers for breakfast. But I will eat any leftovers for breakfast - weirdest probably being toad in the hole (with gravy) or steak and ale pie.

I will eat leftovers for lunch/dinner but I don't really like them as much as when I have leftovers for breakfast, so wherever possible, if we have any leftovers, I'll eat them for breakfast.

DemonicEruption · 08/03/2020 00:23

A raspberry jam doughnut and a custard doughnut both from Morrisons 😳 they're my favourite (icing sugar rather than granulated) but they start to go stale quickly so I wanted to enjoy them while I could.

TheSparklyPussycat · 08/03/2020 00:25

Cold apple crumble with double cream

TheSparklyPussycat · 08/03/2020 00:27

Or hot apple crumble with double cream

PorpentinaScamander · 08/03/2020 00:31

My sister and I once shared left over kfc followed by left over "offee' 'banoffeepie minus the banana) pie for breakfast.

That was after our sometime past midnight icecream and chocolate that we always had Grin

On Easter Sunday my DC have half an Easter egg each as a bowl with coco-pops in for breakfast.

vampirethriller · 08/03/2020 07:16

Oh yes.
Ive often had leftover Chinese or Indian takeaway for breakfast. And cold pizza.

Bluesheep8 · 08/03/2020 08:11

I'm going to have leftover Indian takeaway.

SconNotScone · 08/03/2020 08:45

I almost had pita and hummous for breakfast this morning, but stopped myself because it “felt weird”. Not sure why it would have been weird, but I ended up ping with scrambled egg on toast, and didn't really enjoy it that much! Should have had the hummous.
