Sundays can be tough days for us & I took myself off for a couple of short walks to calm down earlier! Still, overall the day is going well. We took one of our bunnies to the vet for a jab, then bought some hay. Popped into where I work to get a few bits & look at tablelamps, then Tesco’s on the way home. Yummy peppery pasties for lunch. DD & I had a game of UNO. Loved that as a kid myself. DD has just impressed me by preparing & frying her own recipe potato cakes. They smell amazing! Was pretty impressed with her gluten free pancakes on Shrove Tuesday too!

I'm watching last nights Greatest Dancer.
Ds1 (15) is having a bath and then he'll make pancakes for us all.
Ds2 (13) is singing very loudly to James Arthur and playing with his Lego.

Dinner time, it's beans and quiche Lorraine. A bit early but it's been a long day and we were hungry. Watching Poirot.

Early out for swimmng this morning. Friend's of DC1&2 knocked for them and they went to the park. Lunch and then DC3 had a party while other two did bits of homework and music practice.

I've been sewing and watching TV the last hour. DH just collected DC3 from party and is going to make a roast now while I supervise showers and hair washing.

Quiet day for once, which is always nice!

Took kids and dog for a walk, tidied up a bit, currently making a roast and relaxing. Nothing too strenuous.

Just me and dh today.
We've been coronavirus prepping shopping. His currently on pc , I've had a hoover around, watched a film and we've jointly got dinner ready together and about to cook it.

I've a list of stuff to be doing around the house, in preparation for the coming working week, DIY, painting furniture and general life maintenance.

I haven't changed out of my nightclothes and I'm ripping CDs to change up my mp3 playlist.

Sorting out cupboards as hopefully moving house soon ! Now catching up on weeks tv before ordering a curry. Oh and having a large gin 🍸

Been to church, done a jigsaw, homemade steak pie for lunch. Now cwtched under a blanket watching the first Harry Potter with DC1&2 who are 1&4.

Housework and changed the bedding this morning.
DP is in the kitchen making a roast, I think the potatoes have just gone in.
I’m slobbing on the sofa watching Joker.

DP is playing on the Xbox. I've been on it most of the afternoon whilst he ironed.
DS is playing on his DS, he saved his birthday money and bought it and games yesterday so he will not be parted from it today
I've just sorted out the bits for fajitas, just waiting for the chicken to cook before stuffing our faces.

I'm massively hungover, children have just got back from grandmas and we're all on the sofa watching a movie and having a picnic dinner. Baths and early nights all round!

We went out for breakfast this morning as we are fed up having no cooker for at least five weeks. New kitchen is fitted but worktops which should have been fitted over 3 weeks ago had been cut wrong ( sink in wrong place ). They were delayed again last Monday and are now due on Wednesday coming. Fingers crossed. It's amazing how much inconvenience it is not having worktops and cookertop. On the bright side we have 2 ovens which can be used. We also had no washing machine or dishwasher for 5 weeks. It's all so boring now

Went for a walk in the summer shine this morning on my own

Dd came back from a sleepover so she was happy just watching the footie with me and ds this afternoon

Dh and ds gone upstairs now to sort out his revision timetable , GCSEs

I've just opened the wine and now watching man city game with Dd

DH is making a Sunday roast and doing the ironing for tomorrow so I can get on with my homework (3 essay assignments😫). As you may have noticed I'm procrastinating slightly...

DD is in my room with me playing some Roblox shite after homework
DS is downstairs on WhatsApp video call with his friend, they are also making a YouTube Minecraft tutorial together
DP can go fuck himself so no idea what he is doing downstairs as I've not spoken more than telling him to stick his dinner up his arse and move the fuck out away from me
And I'm upstairs on my phone I'm tempted to order a pizza to annoy him as he still expected me to be a good little female and cone and eat the meal I told him not to make me. I'm also contemplating the best place to shove all my wedding stuff to sell it.
Can you tell it's a happy home here?

And ps DC are both apparently revising / doing school homework with no prompting from me! I should follow their example really 😁

Had a lay in, cooked spaghetti bolognese & shepherds pie for later in the week.

Went out for a roast dinner, now home fresh bedlinen been put on beds, a load of washing to be done then chill time

Dh has popped out for a quick surf.
4 year old is at my parents for an hour or so.
14 year old is doing homework

4 month old is babbling / breastfeeding / watching me cook a Sunday roast.
It’s never usually this calm on a weekend!

What's DP been doing?

I’ve had a quiet day. DD is our only child and she’s out all day (10am-6pm) at a rehearsal for a show she’s in. DH and I went out to a local NT place to walk the dog, it was such a nice day we sat outside and had early lunch from the cafe there. Got home about 1.30 after getting stuck in traffic and have spent the afternoon pottering around and watching Netflix. Now contemplating picking DD up and making steak sandwiches for dinner.

I'm changing the duvet cover and drinking wine.

I'm drinking wine because I'm going to dinner with a relative and it's stressing me out.

I'm going to dinner with the relative because I haven't seen them for a while.

I haven't seen them for a while because I've been busy changing the sheets (and all the rest of the housework) on the beds of everybody in this house because they don't do it for themselves.

DH is visiting his DF.

14yo DD is supposed to be doing homework. She isn't. She's eating biscuits and watching TV. She won't be hungry when we get to the relatives for dinner and will pick at her food.

It will than be my fault she didn't do her homework. Because I made her go out to visit people.

The cat has just tried to climb into the floorboards where DH has taken off the skirting board to do some wiring. He's cross because I dragged him out by his hind quarters before he disappeared, so has decided to sit in my clean laundry pile and lick his butt while intermittently giving me dirty looks.

I've made a tiramisu and about to make a paella. A few bits and pieces of housework- quite boring but chilled day.
