First dates - guy with 10 DC paying the bill

I would always split the bill. The guy came across really well. His date was awful. No offer to pay or split the bill. Then snarky comments about not having dinner money for the DC and to give them beans in toast to mange his budget deficit.

We cheered when he said no to a second date. I hope they bring him back on and he meets someone nice.

His date did not come across well.
Her company was not sparkling.

I'd take a bloke with ten kids, 6 of which he's raising on his own over some grubber who doesn't think she should pay her way just because she owns a vagina.

SD I'm guessing at least 6 of them are to one woman as they live with him. She left for another man when the youngest was a baby.

As a child free by choice woman it wouldnt even have got as far as a date if it were me. I would not be interested in a guy with ten kids.

That's fair enough but it still polite to pay half the damn bill. Not sit their mocking him and saying he won't be able to afford to feed his kids for the rest of the weeks.

But 10 kids is a LOT And if the relationship was going to go anywhere after their date its a bloody lot to ask a woman to take on. Especially when its still seen as womens work and women do the bulk of it whether the child is biologically theirs or not.

But i guess thats what dating is for To see if you are compatible And also a chance to see if a man really believes in equality by seeing how he splits childcare with ex.

Helena he'd been single for four years. I'm sure he had the jist of parenting and wasn't necessarily after a mother figure. It's a bit patronising to suggest that just because he's male, one that's happily been plodding along for years working and caring for his children full time he'll be on the look out for a woman to offload them onto. 💁🏻‍♀️

I believe he and his ex wife had ten kids between them as he said he hadn’t been on a date in twenty years. Their youngest child is five and six of them live with him and she left him four years ago which adds up.
