Are you a motorway middle lane moocher?

I hate you. All of you.

I didn't get the chance to tell you on my 5 hour journey today but I hate you.

This is why I won't let my mum drive if we're taking the motorway. She's been driving longer than I've been alive but she will not listen. She coasts along and seems to think that because she's at the speed limit it matters not a jot what lane she's in. My dads partner refuses to let people merge because she "doesn't have to". Yet it's younger drivers that get a lot of stick!

He was a middle lane moocher that used to speed up if anyone started to overtake.

I've had people do this to me, I try and overtake them but they speed up but then slow down again once you don’t pass them.

Is it technically 'undertaking' if you don't move to the left lane to do so? For example, you come down the slip road and enter the motorway on the left lane, you're doing 70mph, and find yourself passing a middle-lane-hogger on their left. You haven't changed lanes to undertake, it's just happened that way ... The only problem I can see is those middle-lane-hoggers who might not check to their left before moving.

It is undertaking if you're in the 1st lane and they're in the 3rd?

I've seen so many morons driving for miles in the 2nd/3rd lane on an EMPTY motorway

First time I went on the motorway after passing my test i did this (tbf i had also learnt to drive in another country previously where you're allowed to do it). I mentioned it to my dad and he put me right, but otherwise I might not have realised how bad it is.
I absolutely hate it now and never do it!
