Urgh, who eats sushi at their desk with their fingers and their gob open?
I am about to brain him with the chair!

I’m surprised at all these finger eaters. What about keeping your fingers away from the hot wasabi so you don’t accidentally touch your eyes later and regret your life decisions? Or do you finger eaters just not use wasabi?

I hate wasabi. Now, pickled ginger I can't get enough of.

I too am amazed at those eating sushi with their fingers. Chopsticks here. Often at my desk.

I bloody hate HATE people eating with their mouths open ... I'm looking at you my antipodean cousin!! 🤨.

You squirt the wasabi out of the little packet onto the sushis, no problem.

Fish is not an issue - fresh fish, hence fresh sushi/sashimi should be near enough odorless to anyone more than 3 feet away...

...now, the fuckwit who microwaves smoked mackarel every day at our place - when I find them..... .....

Actually, sushi fingers all over keyboard is really unhygienic.

Eating raw seafood and rice (although can be delicious) is asking for trouble if not properly stored or made.

There is also a higher incidence of Parasitic worms in guts of Japanese because of the high fish content in the diet and fact that the seafood is incorrectly stored and transported ...

@KatherineJaneway I do. I love it. I don't tend to eat sashimi though. I prefer veggie or meat sushi or sushi with cooked prawns.

In case you missed posts above, sushi is not raw fish. Sashimi is.

You are meant to mix the wasabi with the soy sauce. There is usually a little sort of bit on the tray that you can mix them. You then dip the sushi into the mix.

Also what I do is squeeze the wasabi into the soy sauce...then dip!

I always want to say that too!

Does no one else wonder why op is staring into a work colleges mouth whilst they are eating? It would never occur to me to do that!
