What do you still do as an adult that you did as a child?

I was thinking this today as I drank my drink in the kitchen. I was a clumsy child, forever spilling stuff, so i was only allowed to drink drinks in the kitchen. I’ve never drunk tea or coffee, so when I’m thirsty I go in the kitchen and get a glass of water or squash and just drink it down. I very rarely have a drink in any other room. Weird.

Sleep with my blanket.....32 years and my baby keeps pulley pieces offofitso not sure how many more years it'll last.

Save the best part of my dinner for last as a reward for making it to the end, even though I am a grown up and no-one is going to force me to clear my plate.

Sink into my bed night after night and wish I could just stay in there for ever and never have to deal with other humans ever again.

Wait too long to go for a wee so I end up needing to do a 'need a wee dance' .

The bathroom was the furthest room away from both the living room and my bedroom as a child, and I was always far too engrossed in whatever it was I was doing to stop and do something as tedious and time consuming as tramp all the way to the bathroom to battle with tights, do my business, battle with tights again, pull up a step to the sink to wash my hands, put the step away and tramp all the way back to whatever it was I was doing.

So I would stubbornly refuse until I'd be dancing and leg it to the loo to make it just in time.

I'm still guilty of this more often than I care to admit in my late 20s.

Pspsps every cat I see and hope it follows me home.
Abuse the perfume testers in Boots.

Eat food that's "just right", aka lukewarm.

Walk through piles of leaves in the Autumn to kick them up

Walk on any fresh snow I can find

Suck my thumb and still have a comfort blanket!

Suck my thumb and have a small piece of my comfort blanket left. Although that stays under my pillow now because it will disintegrate soon.

I also said the words "I know you are, but what am I" to my 4 year old the other day (she called me farty pants). She now thinks I'm the funniest person alive and keeps saying it, mostly when it doesn't even make sense 😂

Still have my teddy and nibble the chocolate off round the side of a kitkat. Despite telling my child to eat their food properly

Speak to the elbow because it so ain’t worth the extension 😂 only as a bit of banter with dd who’s 7 going on 17 😂

Cut my toast into little squares when eating beans on toast. My brother said to me the other day he couldn’t believe I still do that 😊😊
