Stick your middle finger up (i.e - swearing) without pinning your index finger and the others down with your thumb? I can’t and have just been told I’m a freak for not being able to do so yet I don’t get how it’s possible as my index finger always twitches like it wants to cohabit with the middle finger to join an equally offensive V sign

4th (ring) finger is hard to work separately for me, takes lots of concentration

So, when i do this my first finger only bends at the middle knuckle. Although this isn't a gesture that I've used as much as i thought i would (I've never used it), i remember practising it as a child so i happen know that when i wad young all fingers laid down. So it's altered with age!

I now feel I've achieved something today! I can do all 8 fingers sloooowly to avoid other fingers twitching, either curl down from straight, or stick up from curled. It's too late to use my powers for good or evil isn't it? Sigh. The life I could have had...

I can! Definitely have strong 'fuck you' genes as I can also raise my ring finger independent too. I can move more of my toes independently than normal people seem to be able to though as well. Don't know if any connection.
