Shit food I've made this week

Made a chicken and broccoli quiche, cottage cheese instead of yummy cheddar - shit

Also made meatballs a la Italian - put red lentils in that haven't cooked properly so there are still nutty little bits - shit

Any cooking fails for you this week?

Oh yeah I also made fajitas last night : added too much chicken stock cube - salty as fuck, so also shit

These have cheered me up because when it all tastes awful I end up thinking I'm the worst cook in the world! Sometimes food turns out great in my kitchen sometimes it's awful.

Did baked beans for toddler DD. She likes cheese on them, so I had the brainwave to grate the cheese onto the beans while they were still on the hob. It turned the bean juice into the texture of phlegm.
