Do I need a Roomba in my life?

Just that really, don't have a huge house but have a dog and new carpet that has a pretty thick pile. Dog leaves dents in the pile that make it look dirty so I'm forever getting the hoover out and it's a PITA.

I'm envisaging just setting the roomba off to deal with it and letting it get on with it!

Would want it to be able to cope with the kitchen / hall hardwood floor too.

Or do I need a cordless hoover - Dyson or similar instead?

Please help!

We have a Eufy (actually, we have 2, one upstairs and one downstairs) with a long haired cat, short haired cat, long haired dog and long haired dd - it is fine. I do empty them both every day though and check the brush. Takes about 5 minutes per vac but worth it. Ours both come on for around an hour every day - we have mostly hard floors and really notice the difference. We now only vacuum the stairs. (and yes you must name them!)

How much have you All spent on your Roomba/Eufy? Is more expensive better?

I’ve got a Eufy and it’s just brilliant. It encourages me to tidy up because the floors need to be clear so it doesn’t get stuck. My home have never been so clean.

Mine found my husbands car key he’d been trying to find for a month.

I've got the 30c and it's great with one long haired dog, one short haired dog and 2 long haired cats. I do cut the longer hairs off the roller brush every few days. If you use this link you get a year of accessories https://www.eufylife.com/uk/referral/buy?ic=2d25249ea10e7b32754f&utmsource=web&utmmmedium=referral&utmcontent=&utmmcampaign=ukeufyyappliance&utmterm=shareeother

As others have said he does like to eat cables.

Has anyone got the G10 hybrid which mops too? I'm very tempted!

@Pinkerpellosa

I’d say costlier isn’t necessarily better. I’d steer clear of very cheap, personally, but upwards of mid range, more expense may mean adding functionality you don’t need.

I spent more because I have carpets and a long haired cat, so wanted the best suction I could get, but could have paid less I think. I got a couple of expensive ‘virtual walls’ I didn’t really need, for example.

Smart functionality is a nice to have, because you can use an app or voice assistant with the hoover. Some hoovers will return to base for recharging if they run out while working, and some empty themselves too. But long as it’s working for you and getting your floors clean, the rest is really just detail, it is up to you whether the extras are worthwhile for you. I think any robot hoover is good :)
