what are your first world problems (lighthearted!)

DS has made a bacon sandwich and filled the house with remarkable, mouth watering smells and hasn't made me one.

(he's not being selfish, there's not enough bacon because I had one when he was at school yesterday)

Buying a new car and seriously annoyed (properly actually really annoyed) that the model I had set my heart on doesn't come with heated seats.

I can have full leather interior but no heated seats, or I can have half leather/alcantara with heated seats. I want full leather. I want heated seats.

Why is life so fucking unfair 😭

That's unacceptable, for the cost of a new car they should be forced to provide both.

@lilmisstoldyouso ha! This is the same as me, I’ve just bought a new car and it doesn’t have an electric tailgate or electric front seats! And it has the highest trim level! It does have Apple play though so that’s softening the blow a bit.

My alarms didn't go off this morning so I'm running late. Luckily I've not got group til this evening but I wanted to do some reports this morning. Schedule disrupted hmm

I've bought (far too) l many) snacks for the day ahead and coupled with all my crap eg colouring, phone charger, diary, my bag is really heavy

Alcantara is just as nice as leather though. Very stylish! (Is that softening they blow a bit? DH, who know about this stuff, prefers it.)

I can't find a rug big enough to fit in front of my logburner between the plinth and the sofa. It's about 10 ft x 6 ft.

And I am cross about this.

My reusable coffee cup doesn't fit nicely under the coffee machine for my free coffee in Waitrose.

I can just get it in a suitable position to catch said coffee but there's not enough room for it to sit there by itself, and yes I have tried pushing the dispenser bit up before anyone says.

Mine is that I’m worried about annoying my next door neighbour when we begin work on our extension which will house my new kitchen and utility.

I made valentines cupcakes for my ESOL class (adults) tonight as it's the end of term but they aren't very pretty. In fact they look shite. I'm too embarrassed to take them in, so instead I'm going to keep them, but I'm dieting so I don't want 10 cupcakes hanging around as I will eat them. So I'm very seriously considering throwing them away.
I am actually disgusted with myself at how vain, wasteful and 1st world this problem is.

My favourite cup doesn't fit under my new coffee machine. Said machine also makes a bloody racket. It does make nice coffee though.

I trialled a fancy lunchbox I got for Christmas in work a few days ago and got pasta sauce all over my earl grey teabags and had to put up with smartprice breakfast tea.

I have taken codeine for my very sore back so I can actually get stuff done but now I feel too drowsy to get stuff done.

My back still hurts.

I'm upset because I'm in a friendship of 3 mums at school and one has invited the other round and not me. Doesn't mean we're all not friends, it's just the first time anyone has been left out. Why does it have to be me?! Grin

Ooooo I have found my people. Let me begin.

  1. My new car had to have the silver interior trim as its exclusive to the model I want. I want the dark trim from the lower spec model. I could have it that way , but I would have to wait a month longer which means the car would be more expensive as its price will rise in April.
  2. We widened our drive to accommodate a 4th car. But because it lives at the bottom of the drive I now have to move 2 cars out the way to get it out, which I never have time to do.
  3. My garage isn't big enough to accommodate 4 cars.

Theres a theme to my problems, no?

As suggested by MayFayner I checked Rugvista and they don't have anything in the size I need in the colour I want!

My problems just worsened.... woe, woe is me!
