DS has made a bacon sandwich and filled the house with remarkable, mouth watering smells and hasn't made me one.

(he's not being selfish, there's not enough bacon because I had one when he was at school yesterday)

Ikea have stopped selling the bins that would have fitted perfectly in the ikea drawer under the kitchen sink (previous house owners took the bins with them). I had to shop around with my tape measure. And the ones I got aren't a perfect fit. The bin lid won't swing down so you actually have to PRESS IT in order to close the door.

Not happy.

@Zaphodsotherhead if you find a carpet that you like get the shop to bind it for you and voila the perfect rug.

Like @nibdedibble my cleaner also used too much polish which resulted in ridiculously slippery surfaces! Also, I'm on a diet and craving Mac n cheese. Totally first world problems.

Ah I washed my hair and straightened it this morning and it rained, a fine misty rain so I now have slightly curling hair and it's pissed me off that I went to the effort of washing and straightening it for nothing and I'm annoyed with my mum as it must be her fault my hair is not straight naturally. Why me.

My heated steering wheel has stopped working this morning. To make matters worse, when I was getting out of the car I dropped the bottle of wine I was going to drown my sorrows with and it smashed all over the drive.
Boo hoo.

The workout leggings I really want are out of stock in my size and my husband is late home from work and I think the dinner I cooked is going to be awful

I had to rearrange it for today because I realized that my appointment next week was in half term and I was away with dc.
I don't want grey roots on holiday so squashed it in today.

On the theme of cars my new Seat Ateca doesn’t have a self closing boot even though we’ve bought a really good spec. The next size up Tarraco does and it has a very satisfying beep while it does it but it’s too big for our needs. Also, it’s arrived in the showroom and I want it now but DH wants it to be registered on 1st March so it has a 20 plate despite the fact we have a private plate to put on it 🤨.

My cleaner has changed her day from Friday to Wednesday at our request as DH works from home most Fridays but the house seems to get messier during the week even though we’re at work and school so it already feels messy.

Although the most first world problem EVER goes to DH who, back when the iPhone X came out rang me and the conversation went:

Me: hiya are you ok?
DH: well... no not really.
Me: oh no what’s wrong?
DH: the facial recognition on my new iPhone doesn’t work when u h d my sunglasses on.

My new car (which didn't cost me anything) is not high enough to go through the flood water so I had to drive 30 miles instead of 10. It should come with a button to press to increase the height.

We booked a holiday for Easter and then I realised that I had also booked a spa weekend and so I get back from my holiday on a Friday evening and leave again Saturday morning, I already panicking about the rushing around packing bags for the spa weekend before I even go on holiday! 😬

I am 30 weeks pregnant and so so so fed up with it. I want it over NOW !!

1. My new car had to have the silver interior trim as its exclusive to the model I want. I want the dark trim from the lower spec model. I could have it that way , but I would have to wait a month longer which means the car would be more expensive as its price will rise in April.
