What do you call it, and what are you having?

We’re being extra unhealthy and lazy with chip shop food. Mines a bartered sausage, chips with chip shop curry sauce, Mmm!

6w/o DD is having warm milk and bed!

Mushroom, spinach and cheese omelette with toast. Wanted something filling and nutritious but very quick.

MintySpud · 11/02/2020 17:37

DH is having heated up roast dinner leftovers, DD is having a homemade mini pizza thing and extra veg and I will have a cuppa soup and quite possibly a Twirl.

IpanemaGallina · 11/02/2020 17:40

Chicken Fajitas after DC have gone to bed, with salsa & guacamole.

I usually call it dinner, sometimes tea.

sockittome123 · 11/02/2020 17:48

Bangers and mash

I call it dinner normally

lastqueenofscotland · 11/02/2020 17:54

Sundried tomato risotto, garlic bread and roasted broccoli...
after I get a hideous speed work session out of the way first...

Camomila · 11/02/2020 17:57

Daddy's special chicken (roast chicken thighs with BBQ sauce) DS1 is very excited!
With mash, sweetcorn, brocolli and yorkshire puddings Smile

bettybattenburg · 11/02/2020 17:57

It's 'can't be bothered to cook night' like every night for a change here so I've just made a bolognese and shoved it in the oven.

MocholateMousse · 11/02/2020 17:59

Spaghetti & meatballs for everyone else, baked macaroni cheese for me. Needed comfort food tonight!

jomaIone · 11/02/2020 18:01

How do you quickly.make a Bolognese...in the oven?!

We are having sausage and mushroom pasta which I've already made for my daughter and we will heat up and have with garlic bread and salad once she's in bed. Although she has barely touched it and now scoffing Weetabix 😱

fishonabicycle · 11/02/2020 18:06

Shit dinner tonight - ham, egg, chips, peas!

fishonabicycle · 11/02/2020 18:07

With a pickled onion garnish!

LittleSweet · 11/02/2020 18:11

Chilli con carne with pork mince because I don't eat moo cows. With rice and tortilla chips. I'm also making sausage rolls for the dcs lunch tomorrow. Better get on it as it's not cooking itself!

Sarahlou63 · 11/02/2020 18:13

Two Italian volunteers are making carbonara. Let's see if it's as good as mine!! Grin

notacooldad · 11/02/2020 18:15

A nowhere near authentic thai curry
Onions a packet of frozen mixed veg, thai curry paste and a can of coconut milk and a can of chick peas. I left it in the slow cooker all afternoon and I've just had some. Its lovely!

Pipandmum · 11/02/2020 18:15

Made Nigella's chicken curry from her Express book Sunday night so we are having the remaining today. So quick and yummy.

bettybattenburg · 11/02/2020 18:15

Can't be bothered to cook bolognese:

brown onion in the pan
add cumin seeds
add balsamic glaze
a splash of red wine
brown the mince
add the tomatoes and fennel
put it in the oven
cook for 1/2 an hour on 200

Job done. Serve with crusty bread because I can't be bothered to do spaghetti

Emmabryant123 · 11/02/2020 18:33

Spaghetti bolegnese
Call evening meal dinner.
Mid-day meal lunch

iklboo · 11/02/2020 18:33

WW wrap 'pizza'

iklboo · 11/02/2020 18:35

Argh. Pressed too soon. It wasn't very inspiring so I'm asking DH to bring me a bag of chips in. It's cold, horrible and I was blown over today walking into work.

YicketyYackMamasBack · 11/02/2020 18:37

@notacooldad I’m pinching that one for my slow cooker! Ashamed to say in my 23 years of life I’ve never made a curry And I’ve only ever done joints and stews in the slow cooker! I’ve made pretty much everything from chilli to chorizo and cream cheese stuffed chicken.

But never a curry!👀👀

Yes, it's lovely if you put a few cumin seeds in with the red onions when you brown them.

Fifthtimelucky · 11/02/2020 18:40

Risotto left over from yesterday, containing chicken, prawns, squid, scallops, mushrooms and squash. I chucked in some spinach today to make it a bit different from yesterday.

At the risk of offending lots of people: Supper!
