I bought a settee from ScS on a 4 years free credit basis last year, I've just seen that the same settee is now on sale, for less than half price, I don't suppose there's any way of getting them to rearrange my credit payments to reflect the discount is there 🙈🙈 I've got a really good feeling that there is no way they'd do this, but this is the first settee I've bought from an actual sofa store, so have no idea if it's possible. I'm gutted too as it's a massive saving and I'm going on holiday this year. X.

Thanks amusedbush I missed that.

And if you don't ask you don't get is what I've been told

Ask, there's no harm in asking. I recently got several years worth of Amazon prime payments refunded after I discovered my husband and I had both being paying for it.

I work in retail and it amazes me the amount of people that expect us to lower the price of something because we had a discount weekend 6 months before they bought it full price at Christmas then after it’s in the sale but they are out of their refund period.

Last year! Obviously it will be in the sale a year later. These places always over inflate their prices so when they go in the sale they're more like the price they should be.

It's worth a try, all they can do is say no. I actually did this when I bought DD some presents from my catalogue, they went on sale not long after and I emailed and asked if they would credit my account to the value of the difference as a gesture of goodwill. They did.

What did they say, OP?

You don't have any strength in your bargaining position for this. Had it not been delivered yet, you would be in a different position. Their contract has been completed in your case.
