Parking thread

This isn’t going to be too exciting but thought I’d post anyway because it’s been a while since we’ve had a parking thread. We have an assigned parking space in a private car park where everyone has an assigned space. No visitor spaces and no street parking in the vicinity. An unknown CF who does not have an assigned space has been parking in various spaces over the past month preventing residents from using their spaces (we hypothesise he is a commuter due to location and the times he is found parked there). DH has snapped and blocked in CF today as he is in our space. DH’s car is not obstructing anyone else. He’s currently wondering whether to move his car or leave it overnight. Will update if anything interesting happens.

I would block him in to..... be prepared as it's a parking thread that a diagram is required!

dappledsunshine · 07/02/2020 18:25

C'mon Regina you know the rules..... diagram and block in ALL night at least 😂

Xyzzzzz · 07/02/2020 18:28

Leave the car and keep them blocked in.

Whynotnowbaby · 07/02/2020 18:29

Excellent start to the thread, make sure you don’t leave us dangling though! We want regular updates and a dramatic showdown!!

Pimmsypimms · 07/02/2020 18:30

Yep, I'd block them in, hopefully it'll teach them a lesson and make them think twice about parking where they shouldn't!

HeidiHoNeighbour · 07/02/2020 18:30

Don’t forget the glass of wine in your hand when you open the door to cf.
you can’t possibly drive...

Whynosnowyet · 07/02/2020 18:33

Aren't you away for the week end op?. Back Monday night..

CallmeAngelina · 07/02/2020 18:38

What on earth would be the point of your dh moving his car? How is that going to stop the cheeky fucker from parking in your spaces?
He needs to learn the hard way!

BluebellsareBlue · 07/02/2020 18:40

I DEMAND the diagram!! And I want colour!!!! Wink

10FrozenFingers · 07/02/2020 18:43

Scone, anyone?

britnay · 07/02/2020 18:47

Block him in the whole weekend, cheeker fucker twunt

MrsElijahMikaelson1 · 07/02/2020 18:50

Diagram!

Nanna50 · 07/02/2020 18:51

Blocking him in for anything less than the whole weekend would be unreasonable and unsatisfactory. Enlist neighbours to help if you need to use DH car.

RedDhalia · 07/02/2020 18:52

We require an update every 5 minutes please. I hope you are busy sketching a detailed diagram currently!!! 😁

TopBitchoftheWitches · 07/02/2020 18:54

DH must not move his car. Plus, diagram.

Witchend · 07/02/2020 18:55

it’s been a while since we’ve had a parking thread

I guess for parking threads, then "a while" is measured in minutes rather than days. Grin

Reginabambina · 07/02/2020 18:59

Really cross, whimpy DH has decided that he must go to the gym right now! Thinking about ltb. Diagram on its way - apologies!

Obv block them in. 😁

SomeHalfHumanCreatureThing · 07/02/2020 19:01

Oh rude

Reginabambina · 07/02/2020 19:08

Sorry, very crap at diagrams. Dark blue is our house. Red is neighbours houses. Orange is office block. Purple is CF. Yellow is (or rather was) DH. N.B. Diagram not to scale. Spaces behind DH still accessible.

Definitely ltb, has he no thought for the greater good?

olympicsrock · 07/02/2020 19:13

Noooo ! Ask a neighbour to BIock in the CF immediately

DoIStayOrDoIGoNow · 07/02/2020 19:15

Get someone else to block him in!!!

Mummyoflittledragon · 07/02/2020 19:18

I was salivating having not had a parking threaded for a while. Your dh needs to know we are not amused. Wink

TopBitchoftheWitches · 07/02/2020 19:20
