Right. I'm taking DS out of school this minute and making him get a job as a chef. I know he's only 14 but his lasagne was gorgeous. And I'm not being biased honest.

Pan fried fillet of wild salmon, salad pots, asparagus and with crushed peas in creme fraiche on the side.
Beef stew tomorrow.

LittleSweet · 05/02/2020 18:12

Janiah, us too! Me mozzarella with jalapenos, ds1 spinach and ricotta and ds2 pepperoni. They will have homefries on the side.
Dh is at a fancy training course, with a three course meal in the hotel restaurant that has table cloths. He's at the bar drinking lager. Tomorrow the hotel is hosting a trade event for Lindor. He's seen the chocolate going in. He's going to see about trying some of the free samples...if he can get in!

Snog · 05/02/2020 18:15

Chicken chow mein ready meal here, partner working late and neither of us want to cook.

ThreeGirlsPlayCharades · 05/02/2020 19:15

we were going to have sausage patty burgers witrh sweet potato fries, but the Dcs were on fixtures and had sausages and spagetti hoops for match tea.

So they have had ham and cheese rolls, sliced apples and chocolate icecream and I am having prosecco.

CrowleysBentley · 06/02/2020 10:16

Boiled bacon (done in the electric pressure cooker because its easy), mashed potato, savoy cabbage cooked in the bacon water and cauliflower cheese because I have a cauli that needs using up and DD will only eat it if its covered in cheese. Not the healthiest meal going, but nice and easy comfort food as we're all full of snotty colds.

Ninkanink · 06/02/2020 10:27

I’m not sure what we’ll have today. Maybe Thai salmon (some Thai red curry paste and coriander smeared over the top, then baked), along with basmati rice for my OH, some Thai stir fry veg (frozen) for me and a big pile of tender stem broccoli with sesame oil, fish sauce, chilli, garlic and ginger.

Or I might do a cooked breakfast - hash browns for my OH, chipolatas, streaky bacon, eggs, mushroom and tomato, possibly with baked beans although my OH prefers it without and I’m low carbing so I might not bother.

Ikora · 06/02/2020 10:35

Already made mixed veg soup with red lentils with a salad and bacon sandwiches. It’s DS quick turn around for cadets night and DH gets home really late plus I have choir practice.
