Paying £95 a month for sky tv with cinema and broadband. I find this ridiculously expensive. What's everyone else paying?

£56 for TV, phone and fibre broadband and without movies. £95 is a lot and I wasn't even paying that when I did have movies! Most I've ever paid is £65. When my contract is due to be up, I ring them up and tell them I'm leaving them and they suddenly have all these offers and discounts for me.

PickleMyPepper · 03/02/2020 18:40

I pay £95 a month for the full Sky Q package (BT sports, Netflix and all channels + box sets and on demand) and broadband.
We've got one main box and one mini box.

TheNoiseHurts · 03/02/2020 18:42

It's just over £50 a month with TV (sky Q box), phone and broadband.

TV includes the kids extra channels.

TheNoiseHurts · 03/02/2020 18:43

Oh that includes Netflix as well.

GiantKitten · 03/02/2020 18:43

£71 just for TV, with sport, no movies Hmm

I think I need to ring them again (got a new Q box & monthly sub of about £50 last time but that was for 12 months so it’s gone back up)

(Phone, broadband & BT sport from Plusnet - that’s another £31!)

Arrowfanatic · 03/02/2020 18:49

I get sky through Now tv and with movies I pay £15a month. Includes the kids package too.

LisBethSalander07 · 03/02/2020 18:52

We've got our phone and broadband with them as well a Q box, 2 mini boxes, and sports & movies package. Last time I checked it was around £150 a month.

lalafafa · 03/02/2020 18:54

sky q, full package inc sports, home phone and broadband and anytime plus and Netflix £124, reduced from 154 when I phoned to reduce the package

JollyAndBright · 03/02/2020 18:56

Sky tv with boxsets, HD, Kids and movies and unlimited broadband.
£41 a month.

ParkheadParadise · 03/02/2020 18:58

We've got broadband, phone, Q box, 3 mini boxes. Sports, Netflix, box sets and on demand.
£130 a month.

onemouseplace · 03/02/2020 19:02

Ours is just about to go up from £68.50 to £75 a month. We get unlimited fibre broadband, TV (HD, box sets and kids channels) and the most basic phone and line rental package.

We occasionally get NOW tv movies for a month or so if there's a few new releases we want to watch.

teatwosugarspls · 03/02/2020 19:04

Mine is £132 and that's with a box in the bedroom, HD and full package. Been meaning to call for a week so no time like the present after seeing these prices x

99problemsandthecatis1 · 03/02/2020 19:06

Nothing. We have Netflix and Amazon prime.

MargotsBumpyNight · 03/02/2020 19:10

Just under £40 a month for basic TV, broadband and phone.

kittykatkitty · 03/02/2020 19:15

£46 a month for broadband, phone, sky cinema, Hd, Box sets and sky Q

DonnaDarko · 03/02/2020 19:18

£33 for just the basic TV package. We have broadband with BT which is also about £30

If it wasn't for a few programmes, we wouldn't have Sky at all as we don't have time to watch much and then we mostly use Netflix.

MiriamShepherd · 03/02/2020 19:19

£26 I have Sky plus, kids, entertainment and box sets, I pay for Netflix separately, my Sky broadband is £22, Sky is one of the best companies to haggle with, I do it whenever they want to put the price up and end up with a cheaper deal than before.

MotherOfLittlePeople · 03/02/2020 19:19

We are paying £40 a month for broadband, sky entertainment and cinema. Will go up £5 more in 2 months as the cinema deal was a 6 month offer. No box sets etc.

Fairylea · 03/02/2020 19:20

We found it much better not to have Sky and we just have Freesat, Netflix, Amazon prime and Now TV. Even combined the total cost is a fraction of the price of Sky.

oktoberfestisuponus · 03/02/2020 19:21

£58 for basic with kids, movies and fibre broadband.

TheGirlWhoLived · 03/02/2020 19:24

We have full sky q, netflix, super fibre broadband, full sports (not bt yet as I can’t see that it’s available! It just keeps saying this will be rolled out in early 2020) kids tv, movies, box sets and I think weekend calls!? Oh and mini box upstairs that we can multi room if the need arises

Costs £100 bob on a month

MrsPelligrinoPetrichor · 03/02/2020 19:26

I think it's £70 for movies, Netflix, Q box, broadband and phone.

MrsPelligrinoPetrichor · 03/02/2020 19:27

** and one extra Q box for ds's room

MrsPelligrinoPetrichor · 03/02/2020 19:28

** we have box sets toi

Minikievs · 03/02/2020 19:28

£92 for broadband, phone line, cinema and family package.
I wish I could get rid of it but it’s really easy gif free kids to use whereas I think they’d struggle with just prime and Netflix as it’s quite clunky to get to them on my tv
