How much do you pay for sky?

Paying £95 a month for sky tv with cinema and broadband. I find this ridiculously expensive. What's everyone else paying?

I pay £37 a month (not Q) which is Entertainment £22 , Kids £5, Movies £10 (on offer). I cancel the movies when the offer ends and then they give it to me cheap again.

We also have Netflix and Amazon, which costs another £14 a month although was paying Amazon anyway before getting a firestick. it is a huge amount to pay out each month, but I don't want to leave Sky.

I would love to upgrade to Q and have boxes in the 2 bedrooms but can't justify the extra cost at the moment, so waiting until my 18mths contact ends and will threaten to leave then and see what happens.

We pay 76 for Sky Q and broadband and that includes Netflix, Sky Box Sets, Sports and all HD channels

Tahitiitsamagicalplace · 03/02/2020 19:33

The full sky Q package, 4k, all the sports, all the movies, extra box for another room, Netflix etc. £45. (It's cheaper for the next year because I was going to cancel it so they were trying to make us stay)

We ended up getting it for a one off payment of £20. We rang up 2 or 3 times and 'expressed interest.'

I got rid of sky and TV so I pay £26 for phone and internet then £8.99 for Netflix for my house and my uni child, we use all4 for anything else, BBC had 1 program a week we liked so decided it wasn't worth it

EdHelpPls · 03/02/2020 19:39

I got rid of sky and just use now tv. Can pay for it using Tesco clubcard vouchers. And there’s always discounts available. I’m currently paying around £11 a month for movies and entertainment. There’s other passes like reality tv etc but I’ve zero interest in those.

(My broadband is with virgin at £18)

I think sky are good to haggle with, if you want to stay with them. Just know what you want and at what price and ask for it to see what they can come up with.

frasersmummy · 03/02/2020 19:40

We pay a whopping £95
But we have multiroom, sports and movies
As well as all channels
We also have free calls and fibre broadband

Redglitter · 03/02/2020 19:42

£80 a month for phone broadband and tv..
Mo sports or movies. Got boxsets, Sky Q and mini box

gettingalife · 03/02/2020 19:44

Sky Q (all channels apart from kids), multiroom, broadband and phone is £78 a month. Was paying £124 but quoted BT's deal and they offered to match it. They'd have let me continue paying if I hadn't rung them, so go online and see what other providers offer for the same, then ring and say you're switching.

anitagreen · 03/02/2020 19:47

£11 for phone line and just broadband

HeronLanyon · 03/02/2020 19:52

I hate sky - all of these differing prices makes me think a lot of us are being screwed ! Always hate even thinking about changing my sub as whenever I speak to them it gets so bloody confusing and there’s a lot of pressure to add things I’m not interested in!

PickleSarnie · 03/02/2020 19:53

£14 a month for Sky Q. Just basic package and no extras such as phone or broadband

AshenQueen · 03/02/2020 20:01

£60 a month for sky TV, broadband, phone and sky cinema.

We tried to cut the bill by taking off box sets, kids and something else but it only reduced it by a tenner and they charged us a tenner for making the change to the above.

I think DP pays £13 extra for skygo to watch sports.

Newmetoday · 03/02/2020 20:04

£130 for full sky Q package with multi room and that includes fibre broadband and landline.
The sky Q is worth every penny. I’ll never get rid.

Justonemorepiece · 03/02/2020 20:07

£62 per month
Everything apart from sports.

YippeeKayakOtherBuckets · 03/02/2020 20:07

Around £130 for the full package and 3 Q boxes, fibre broadband, line rental, Netflix, 4K.

And then another £125 for mobiles.

They must fucking love us. But I wouldn’t be without it. Telly is my main hobby (I have Prime as well). 🤷‍♀️

f00k · 03/02/2020 20:11

£57 a month for phone, broadband, entertainment package, movies, boxsets and HD. I called up asking if they had any deals for the movie package, and he added the boxsets and HD on too. Always worth giving them a call.

amusedbush · 03/02/2020 20:12

£55 a month for one Sky Q box with sports and movies, line rental and fibre broadband (not the top spec one as it’s not available here, we’ve got the next tier down).

Floralnomad · 03/02/2020 20:12

Ours is currently about £100 , full package and multi room , we need our dish moving so will have a negotiate with them when we do that but I’ve no real objection to the cost as it’s worth it for the cricket alone .

latheritup · 03/02/2020 20:16

£72 for Sky Q plus a second box. We have box sets but not cinema. We also have the fastest broadband.
