MiniGuinness · 02/02/2020 18:01

19 in 7 different countries. I’m 45 and not done yet, I love moving.

Purpleartichoke · 02/02/2020 18:02
  1. 12 homes University and graduate school are a good portion

No real plans to move again, unless we relocate to whatever city dd ends up in as an adult.

wowfudge · 02/02/2020 18:03

11 and I'm mid forties. First house my parents moved from when I was a toddler so I don't remember it. Lived in different places every year of a four year degree course. A year of that was abroad. Rented and was a lodger in a couple of flats after graduation, then I bought my first place and now live in the third place I've bought.

TravellingSpoon · 02/02/2020 18:03

I have lived in 7 - Mid 30s but lived in one house for the first 17 years.

My Nan has only ever lived in one house, her whole 93 years.

RuthW · 02/02/2020 18:06

I'm 51 and have lived 5 houses

O-2
2-16
16-21
21-23 (1st house I bought)
23- present.

Chipmonkeypoopoo · 02/02/2020 18:06

39 years, 15 homes, 4 countries. Moving to 16th in 6 months.

Mumtothelittlefella · 02/02/2020 18:07

27 different homes at the last count inc family home, uni digs and then work. I have no idea why so many. It’s wasn’t planned, I just enjoyed trying different places which worked well when I was single living in London. Then babies came along and they have lived in 5 different places and the eldest is 8. We’ve actually only bought 3 out of the 5 places.

I still get itchy feet...

Mumtothelittlefella · 02/02/2020 18:09

And I can remember most of the addresses but I usually need to refer to my credit report for formal dates of moving and postcodes Blush

HoldMyLobster · 02/02/2020 18:09

About 40 I think. Maybe more. RAF and also split across two families as a child.

I'm 50.

I've lived in my current house for 12 years quite happily, but we'll probably move in 3-4 years time which is also OK.

ivfbabymomma1 · 02/02/2020 18:09

32 - my parents home, my flat and then my house so 3!

Ginnotgym · 02/02/2020 18:11

18 houses in 39 years. Never want to move again!!

pinkmagic1 · 02/02/2020 18:12

9, but Only because parents moved a lot when I was a child and then got divorced so more moving. I have however lived in my current house for 19 years and I am 40.

Dreamersandwishers · 02/02/2020 18:12

I am 58; 20 that I remember, 5 countries. Love moving and nesting in a new place😄

DesLynamsMoustache · 02/02/2020 18:13

Mid 30s and 11 here. 17 years were in the same place though!

DesLynamsMoustache · 02/02/2020 18:14

Those 11 were almost entirely between the ages of 17 and 26, moving around student digs and grotty flat shares Grin

WobblyAllOver · 02/02/2020 18:16

10 late 40s.

Hoping that is it as the one I am in should now be our last home.

ThePittts · 02/02/2020 18:17

56 and 12 houses

TheGinGenie · 02/02/2020 18:22

15 and I'm early 30s

Villanomme · 02/02/2020 18:24

Mid 50's.

8, all in the south east including London and various other counties.

OhWellThatsJustGreat · 02/02/2020 18:24

29 - 5
2 with parents
3 with dh

Alyic · 02/02/2020 18:25

63, 7 homes, the last one was for 25 years

LittleDragonGirl · 02/02/2020 18:25

By the time I was 23 I'd lived in 13 different places Hmm

It got pretty boring after that, moved twice since then

Lipperfromchipper · 02/02/2020 18:25

15 and one boat...I’m 34...

starpatch · 02/02/2020 18:25

20 and I'm 47 years old
I think this thread demonstrates the housing crisis well and the horrors of renting. I bought my shared ownership flat when I was 37, moving every year (on average) until then did me no good at all.
