I think my mam used to post here under the name of Toooldtobearsed.

She had cancer and was strufgling with booking a holiday?
I just wanted to let you know she died yesterday.

I cant believe I am saying that. She was the most amazing woman.

Hers was not a peaceful death, I am distraught for her, and trying to do what I can, so if you 'knew' her, she has gone.

She only cane back off holiday last Sunday, and had plans going as far ahead as next Christmas!
She knew her time was limited, but was so full of life. Until she came home from holiday, then it was obvious she was not going to make her family gathering.

She fostered dozens of teenagers. She adopted (and fostered animals).

She was amazing.

There is a goat keeps coming and bleating at me. I am sure she knows. Mam rescued her a couple of years ago and Maisie followed her everywhere.

Maisie had her own kid when mam rescued her, Maisie and Marnie were gpher fopirst goats. She never actually wanted them.... they were just dumped over the fence into a field full of foster donkeys. She ended up with donkeys, goats, chickens, rabbits (!) and two llamas.

We went down to see to them this morning, but they definitely know something is wrong.

I recognise your mam's nn too. And think I remember the thread you're referring to.
