I'm going to Costco for the first time ever! If you're a regular - what are your best buys?

Loo and kitchen roll
Foil
Maple syrup
Kirkland lamb and rice dog food
Part bake baguettes

CooCooCoo · 01/02/2020 22:42

Washing powder
Shampoos
Child’s farm moisturiser
Bedding is amaze (pillows most recently)
Venus Razors

In fact forget all that, double sided Christmas wrapping paper. The membership is worth that alone.

I bought an XL Air fryer today Grin

We bulk buy all our meat from the fresh section , batch it up and freeze it. Has saved us a huge amount of money and is much better value than the supermarkets . It takes a bit of organising in the freezer but is worth the effort.

Beyond that nappies , kitchen towel , toilet roll , washing powder and dishwasher tablets are our staples.

Their own brand loo roll
Orange juice
Individual brioche
Chicken nuggets

Their meat is great but careful to make sure it’s actually good value for you.

I may have let out my secret of what I regularly go for.. Fortnightly.. Its a 2 min drive from my house so all too tempting

AhhARadoxBath · 01/02/2020 23:35

Oh and nappies.

Titsywoo · 01/02/2020 23:41

There's a lot of stuff that is cheaper. I buy loo roll, dishwasher tabs, washing liquitabs, sugar, pesto and full fat coke cans every time i go as it saves loads.

BarbaraofSeville · 02/02/2020 07:07

The electrical goods can be well priced. We got a dualit kettle and toaster set for less than the cost of the toaster alone in other shops.

Standrewsschool · 02/02/2020 08:44

The bedding plants are lovely.

It’s great for parties. Costo do large carrot cakes and chocolate cakes for £9.99. Really cheap and superb quality. A Costco Apple pie is always a staple at our family getogether. delicious,

CooCooCoo · 02/02/2020 15:07

For chicken nuggets I use Iceland/Food Warehouse . They are AMAZE

Audreyhelp · 02/02/2020 15:19

INeedToGetHealthy · 02/02/2020 19:37

I forgot to add that the Kirkland laundry detergent is great too. It is in the dark orange/red bottle. We are using their laundry pods at the moment and they have lasted well.

MistyIsland · 02/02/2020 19:54

Do you have to be a member?

KitKatBox · 02/02/2020 19:58

Batteries - cheap and good.

macaroniandpizza · 02/02/2020 19:59

Ds and i love the muffins (the chocolate ones they and the other kinds freeze well), pancakes and the pastries. The waffles are very good too. I also like the book area and the cleaning stuff is great and last aaaages 😂 just make sure you have enough storage space haha
