How old is your Dualit?

Just musing over a cuppa in the kitchen and I've calculated that our Dualit toaster, kettle and scales are at least 16 years old. Anyone beat that?

Ours is about 16 years old too - I had to replace the timer and the element can be a bit dodgy - will probably replace that too in the near future.

10 years old and it’s never worked properly. Burns one side of toast and the other is raw on any setting. Complete waste of money

I was just about to send my dualit toaster off for repair when CV hit. It's 10 years old. Lovely pink colour.

Our dualit (utility cream - sounds so much better than just plain old cream Grin) must be 13 years old now.. The timer sticks so you have to watch your toast or the house is full of smoke.. But I'm never getting rid. It's a thing of utter beauty. There are Dualit scales you say?!

My 4 slot toaster is 29 (30 in September) . I replaced the element about 15 years ago

Catering style 4 slot toaster, 16 years, one new element we fitted ourselves. To be honest i dont think everything else with a Dualit badge is made to the same quality, going by reviews.

About 15 years. Sent off for a new timer switch a couple of years ago.

3 slice dualit purchased in 2000, so 20 years old. Still going strong!

I also have a 1960s Kenwood Chef, just ordered a new liquidiser for it, (I chipped the glass) and two 1970s/1980s sewing machines. Some things were much better made in previous decades.

Toaster 10 years. Can't imagine not having that particular toaster, if it went I'd buy another exactly the same. May get the matching kettle one day!
