I haven't watched it. I'm sure she's vile in her speech but humiliation and nastiness never stopped anyone doing anything. Laughing at people leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

I saw that earlier today. It's doing the rounds on the non racist groups on FB. I don't know how her speech at the end can't be considered hate speech and illegal?

Some of what she said is vile. She is a nasty, unfeeling woman who says shitty things to shock. She is an arse.

However - bullying is bullying and their behaviour is disgusting. As is the behaviour of people celebrating her humiliation.

I do think what the YouTuber did was cruel, however I do feel it was a little bit deserved.

Sometimes people deserve bad things. That doesn't mean anyone decent queues up to dish those bad things out.

True empathy extends to even vile, hateful arseholes who make the world worse every day. Just like human rights. I mean, she has to live inside her head 25/7. Isn't that punishment enough?

I don’t know, but she’s been banned from Twitter - her previous go-to platform to spew her hate and it pleases me that people are laughing at her and she has no longer got a popular platform to defend herself or her non-hurt feelings to the world

I think the sad thing is that she could have been a real force for good , she is not without courage and has a way with words that could have skewered some real villains but her racism and mockery of others has sent her into completely unacceptable territory. Reap what you sow .

I don't take anything Katie Hopkins says at face value. She is herself epileptic for a start so why that comment in her speech? Odd and deeply troubled woman.
