I couldn't find these in sainsburys and staff knew nothing about them so emailed TU clothing. This was the response:

Thank you for contacting Tu clothing.

At the moment this does appear to be online exclusive and is not available in the stores.

Yes, due to hygiene reasons underwear cannot be returned.

I am very sorry that this would stop you from ordering, however this is stated for the hygiene reasons.

.............

I'm not going to risk ordering and the size being wrong. Just checked the Modibodi site and they accept returns on unworn items so not sure why sainsburys won't

@tinytemper66, you’ve been given some period pants to pass on to girls in your school, but you’re choosing not to give them to them? Why?

whiteknuckleride2 · 02/02/2020 21:41

@nibdedibble - was worth reading the thread for this tip - is it really worth doing?

Period pants are amazing, life changing. I have horrible, heavy painful periods and I almost enjoy using the pants. I use them i
on their own (have found WUKA brand to be most comfortable) and overnight (Modibodi heavy ones where The absorbent pad runs up the front and the back. No leaks. It’s lovely not generating all that waste. People who say they are grim and disgusting ought to try them before dismissing, they really are a revelation. And if you do need to change them at work or school it isn’t actually very hard.

The Love Luna are 25% off in Sainsburys right now....

mollibu · 12/02/2020 14:17

I have them on right now and please don't even bother wasting your money on them. On my way home from work due to an excessive leak Blush never had any problems with previous brands!

I've been using a cup for a couple years now but a pair or two of these might be really helpful for the times every other month when it turns out I haven't got the cup quite in right and have to run to the loo to sort it, or too much gunk has already slid down past where the cup sits.

youngestisapsycho · 12/02/2020 14:52

oh dear @mollibu... i just ordered some for my DDS... i assume they should be ok for lighter days?

mollibu · 12/02/2020 15:10

@youngestisapsycho I'm not on heavy at all today! But it all just seemed to be running to the back (sorry for TMI). Doesn't hold well at all I'm afraid Sad but they might work for your DDs!

Hopefully!
