Netflix - what have I missed?

I had it for a while then cancelled around 6 months ago as I didn't feel I was getting much out of a subscription anymore, but now there's a few shows I want to watch so I'm considering getting another month or two...what have I missed? Stranger Things season 3 was the last thing I saw so anything from July onwards that's a can't miss!

My 'to watch' list is:
The Witcher
The Stranger
You (season 2)

Typically enjoy fantasy, crime drama and true crime, and some sci fi (nothing too complicated or hard to follow though!)

First time around I watched and enjoyed Stranger Things, Dirk Gently, Making a Murderer, Abducted in Plain Sight, The Confession Tapes, Jessica Jones amongst others.

The Dark,

ChardonnaysDistantCousin · 26/01/2020 16:53

A bit like Stranger Thibgs but without the monsters and with some time travel

Not sure when it was released but I've just watched 'when they see us' and 'unbelievable.

BearSoFair · 26/01/2020 16:56

When They See Us is a good shout, I didn't get round to that last time!

ScribblyGum · 26/01/2020 17:14

Unbelievable. Binged it over two day. Fantastic acting, gripping police drama.

EstherLittle · 26/01/2020 17:56

Another vote for Unbelievable. Harrowing to watch but also so gripping.

EstherLittle · 26/01/2020 17:56

Oh and Mindhunter if you haven’t seen that.

Uncooperativefingers · 26/01/2020 17:58

Unbelievable
Criminal
Don't fck with cats (name has , i'm not just being a prude. This was super interesting, but very dark and I had to skip some bits)
Broken if you didn't catch it on BBC before

FaithInfinity · 26/01/2020 17:59

I’ve just watched The Staircase. Fascinating crime documentary.

BestestBrownies · 26/01/2020 18:03

Sex Education.

Hilarious and very well acted. Just binge-watched series 2 and I can’t usually do that (short concentration span)

BestestBrownies · 26/01/2020 18:11

Also enjoyed ‘Unbelievable’ (great acting, refreshing to have the subject of rape in a drama handled from a female/victim’s perspective).

‘Don’t f*ck with cats’ I presumed was a slightly far-fetched mockumentary in the style of ‘Black Mirror’. Shell-shocked to find it was all true

SlatternIsTrying · 26/01/2020 18:28

I have just binged

Chilling adventures of Sabrina
Titans

BearSoFair · 26/01/2020 18:55

Will definitely give Unbelievable a go after so many recommendations!

JuneFromBethesda · 26/01/2020 19:06

Yes, definitely ‘Unbelievable’. Amazing television.

I’m currently watching ‘Cheer’. It’s a documentary about cheerleading but not as you might imagine it. It’s incredibly athletic, male and female, and compelling viewing.

InvisibleToEveryone · 26/01/2020 19:24

October faction, binged that this weekend.

Sabrina, though I need to catch up with that.

Shoxfordian · 26/01/2020 20:11

Sabrina is good
I like the crown as well

Graphista · 26/01/2020 20:32

If you haven’t already watched them:

White collar
How to get away with murder
Suits
Gilmore girls
Mindhunter
Bletchley circle
Sherlock
Bodyguard
Broadchurch
The ted bundy tapes

BestestBrownies · 26/01/2020 21:09

So based on this thread I watched the first episode of ‘The Witcher’. OMG!! What a pile of utter shite!

Dowser · 26/01/2020 21:46
