My partner and I were reminiscing today about the 90s etc and our old teen hoods, we got on the conversation about things we miss you can't get anymore...

Bodyshop dewberry spray
Proper decent tasting cordial (without the horrible sweetener taste)
Watermelon barcardi breezers
Maybelline - ever fresh foundation
Milkybar choos

MusicToMyEars800 · 25/01/2020 20:39

@ClientListQueen ooh thanks I’ll definitely check that out.

Franklymydearidontgiveadam · 25/01/2020 20:40

I reeeeally miss gino ginelli. I. Loved food shopping in the USA recently. All the food labels and style looks really old school and lovely

gaffamate · 25/01/2020 20:41

Too good to be true walls ice cream. It was chewy, I don't know how or why or what the hell it was made of, but it was nice

EineReiseDurchDieZeit · 25/01/2020 20:41

Lush IS Cosmetics To Go, there is probably a dupe for it. @NecklessMumster

Someone on a thread ages ago said you can still get Romantica in Ireland @LipstickTaserrr

Gino Ginelli but the Toffee Fudge one @GoodMythicalMorning

TitchyP · 25/01/2020 20:44

St Ivel Chocolate Yoghurt
Valderma face cream
Pacers

All wonderful but now sadly lost

vampirethriller · 25/01/2020 20:45

Worcester sauce Twiglets
Rock n Rose perfume
Zest soap
Oceania from the Body Shop
Pyramint
Cremolia moisturiser
Prawn cocktail Wotsits

NaturalBlondeYeahRight · 25/01/2020 20:46

Bovril crisps. Still miss those. I even tried putting some bovril power from the instant packs on plain crisps but it didn’t work.
Also this ice lolly that the ice cream man sold as a child that was shaped like a pyramid and reddish/purple. No idea what it was called though.

vampirethriller · 25/01/2020 20:47

Yes to Romantica and Gino Ginelli!

MusicToMyEars800 · 25/01/2020 20:47

Omg... prawn cocktail wotsits also the beef ones too I love them, haven’t seen either flavour in many, many years.

AdaColeman · 25/01/2020 20:50

Walnut Whips with actual walnuts.

After Eight mints with proper decent bitter chocolate and tangy mint fondant.

Ajax scouring powder

ChicChicChicChiclana · 25/01/2020 20:51

Red gel Close Up toothpaste.

Boots Countryborn shampoo - the oat one.

Body Shop green herbs bath foam.

Yy to Bovril crisps!

Marco Pierre White Mumbai Madness soup.

WateryFowls · 25/01/2020 20:54

United biscuits. They brought back Trios, I'm hopeful for these.

And Boots used to do a lovely coconut conditioning spray. Gorgeous smell.

HadEnuff20 · 25/01/2020 20:56

Citrus Spring, Lime. The only canned drink I’ve ever enjoyed.

AdaColeman · 25/01/2020 20:58

Twiglets as they were in 1970s, hard and crunchy with blobs of savoury deliciousness. The Twiglets of today are a completely different and inferior product.

Vesta chicken chow mien with crispy noodles.

OnceUponAMidnightBeery · 25/01/2020 21:02

Toast Toppers. Oh gods I miss them.

Salt and vinegar Quavers.

Mushroom & Wine Pasta n Sauce.

Sorry, will read thread now, just had to get that out...

TheChosenTwo · 25/01/2020 21:04

Oh, and Ben and Jerry’s Double Trouble ice cream.

MusicToMyEars800 · 25/01/2020 21:05

Oohhh salt and vinegar quavers were the best!! Wish they still did all of the things listed on this thread.

Pushpull · 25/01/2020 21:06

Oh how I miss Les Belles de Ricci (tho who knows maybe it would be far too sweet for me now).

And linco beer deep conditioner. And vo5 hot oils. My hair was in amazing condition but probably much more to do with the lack of heat styling!

OnceUponAMidnightBeery · 25/01/2020 21:09

Pp, lucozade is now more sweeteners than glucose. I don't think it's even recommended as a sugar boost for diabetics anymore.

Ribena the same, miss the full sugar version.

PrincessHoneysuckle · 25/01/2020 21:11

@crustycrab it still tastes a bit "diety" though

Givemewineandlotsofit · 25/01/2020 21:13

Mine would be good weekend TV, Noels house party made Saturday evenings, and going live made me get up on a Saturday morning. Nothing close to either of them any more
