As above really. There's loads of shows which have a live audience - has anyone ever been to one?

Oh and the Brits, but I guess it’s not a tv show as such.

Mock the Week

Who wants to be a millionaire. X

My friend was on Supermarket Sweep as a contestant and I was in the audience. The camera zoomed in on me too.

Countdown a few times- that is good fun.
The Voice, also good cos we were in front of the judges when their backs were to the stage, which was most of the time. It was quite chatty and personal.
£100k drop with Davina and a brilliant warm up woman.
X Factor - load of rubbish from up in the gods. Some hideous pilot of a drone show - felt trapped and couldn't escape from that one.

Also that 100 voices thing with ginger spice who was a complete personality vacuum.

Jealous of PP who saw Friends life!

I really wanted to see Big Band Theory but didnt manage it. We visited set once and that was good fun

BunnytheBlueWhale · 14/01/2020 21:50

Oh I saw Trisha!! Anyone remember that?!

BunnytheBlueWhale · 14/01/2020 21:50

And we had tickets to Alan Carr but didn’t get in

avocadochocolate · 14/01/2020 21:53

Crackerjack in the 1970s at the BBC TV Theatre in Shepherds Bush. Got a sore throat shouting 'Crackerjack'.

ZootSuit · 14/01/2020 22:44

@Ohdeariedear my DD would have had the same reaction! Who was the guest judge? We went to see the next step live last year in London, she was in her element!

ZootSuit · 14/01/2020 22:55

Friends and TFI Friday would have been amazing! Very jealous of the posters who did those.
I have been to
Graham Norton (along with a lot of others it seems!)
Blind Date (Cilla version)
CD:UK
The Priory (I think it was called? With Zoe Ball and Jamie Theakston)
BGT

Stars In Their Eyes, years ago. Celebrity special, Julia Sawalha won, she was Cerys Matthews! She beat Terry Venables and Anne Diamond, but I can't remember who they were supposed to be. It was fun, and Matthew Kelly was so funny and charming.

Avebury · 14/01/2020 23:12

Loose Women
HIGNFY
BGT

BGT definitely the most fun

Blingismything · 14/01/2020 23:14

Top Gear, Harry Hill, Dancing on Ice, The Last Leg plus a couple of Radio 4 shows. They were all pretty good. And free!

Haroted · 14/01/2020 23:15

Years ago we went to see Gladiators being filmed.

I have also been to Russell Howard’s Good News - that was awesome to watch!

elQuintoConyo · 14/01/2020 23:25

Blockbusters around 1996. Filming next door was the Rod Hull and Emu show. Grotbags came on and did a skit for Comic Relief! Awesome doesn't cover it Grin

Juicy2020 · 15/01/2020 00:32

The infamous Graham Norton one where Courtney Love admitted things.......

Juicy2020 · 15/01/2020 00:33

(That were left on the cutting room floor!)

Nowifi · 15/01/2020 00:43

I used to go to MTV select a lot, it was filmed in Camden and me and my friends used to stand outside so we could be on TV, they filmed in a kind of perspex box so you could see everything going on. Highly exciting when you're 16 Grin

The David Bowie special of the Jonathan Ross Show, back when he was still with the BBC.
It was filmed at the old BBC Centre and they over allocated tickets so it was very tense being kept in a holding area until we got the go ahead to go into the studio.
We queued for hours outside before being even allowed indoors. There must have been so many people that didn’t get in.

Bowie was fantastic, relaxed, witty, clever. Ross is a huge fan as everyone will know.

He had his band and they played a few songs, Ziggy Stardust I remember. I think he was plugging the ‘Heathen’ tour and album. It was perfection.
