@DanielleandBobby
Love that!
How much did you pay for the door and installation if you don’t mind me asking please?

DanielleandBobby · 14/01/2020 20:34

@lovemenorca the door was already here when we moved in (old house) but I stripped the old paint off , under coated and repainted it in the summer. I’m sure you could get one made though if you found a stained glass specialist off Etsy or somewhere similar, and replaced the glass?

@lovemenorca forgot to say that your door and hall sound lovely too! My kitchen is very dark green with white quartz worktops and I lurv it!

My husband's family (Chinese) always had a red front door. It looks very bright and welcoming. I do think it depends on the rest of the house though. I think black might look a bit severe. Green could be lovely too if you wanted a more natural look.

Red

My house is brick but I have a shade of rich red which looks nice with the shade of bricks. I'm not keen on black front doors, I see it as a non colour. I think it's a question if finding the perfect shade. I always have my colours mixed from the chart as you can be more selective as to what will tone in best.
