Walk around your area looking at the other houses with the same bricks/exterior and decide what you like best.

Chocolatemice · 14/01/2020 09:33

I think its nice to paint your door. I hope you are happy with the result.

BlouseAndSkirt · 14/01/2020 09:37

Not black if south facing: it will absorb the heat and peel in no time.

Black

CoolcoolcoolcoolcoolNoDoubt · 14/01/2020 09:48

But how can you ask without describing your house in anyway! Brick? Painted? What's around it?

I second this. Or we need to see a pic!

CrotchetyQuaver · 14/01/2020 10:00

Black will show every speck of dust, I'd personally go for either red or green. Probably green as red can fade

Trewser · 14/01/2020 10:01

Is it brick or stone?

MopsRUs · 14/01/2020 10:06

I'd go for green or black to highlight the red glass. A red paint might differ slightly from the glass colour and clash with it.

SuperMeerkat · 14/01/2020 10:07

Dark green is very classy in my view. Black in minging and red is a bit meh.

OrangeHeadMummy · 14/01/2020 10:09

Navy

I agree with pp, what colour would go with the house, type of brickwork, colour of windows etc.

lovemenorca · 14/01/2020 11:52

What colour is your entrance hall? Nice to have a flow.

I have very Very dark green built in hall furniture, so dark green front door

Ahitsallover · 14/01/2020 11:56

Dark green

GlamGiraffe · 14/01/2020 12:02

As others have said, we dont know what your house looks like so it's almost impossible to say. Can you take a picture of the area of the door and its surrounding bit and cross off the number etc?

My front door is a lovely shade of dark red.

Feng shui helps you decide you know, just to doubly sure you'll be lucky😉 what way foes your ftom door face? Cant take chances of you dont need to IMO, every little helps 😉😊

motorcyclenumptiness · 14/01/2020 12:25

Deep raspberry red

Lardlizard · 14/01/2020 13:14

Hall is very neutral and white

Trewser · 14/01/2020 14:25

Sky blue pink

Impossible to know what would look nice without knowing the material thst the house is built from

DanielleandBobby · 14/01/2020 16:13

I have some red stained glass in my front door too and painted the front door a bright, glossy red. Soooo many people have complimented it and I’m really happy with it! Our house is stone, so the honey colour goes really well with the red. If your house is red brick though I’d go for the green or black as it’s a much better contrast. I’ll try to post some pics.

That’s lovely, Danielle. Definitely not for red brick, though.

CormoranStrike · 14/01/2020 16:18

Red

dudsville · 14/01/2020 18:32

Ah, so you're only painting the inside and are looking for a colour to go with your hall?
