Meal plan this week?

Would love to see what you have planned.

Would also be interested to know how your 'structure' a meal plan. I try and not eat the same sort of proten or carb every day, so will have rice once; pasta once. potatoes once for example.

My relaiance on chicken is fairly epic, so I am also trying to move away from that and insert more vegetarian meals.

Just interested how other people do it in their daily lives!

Sunday - Roast Pork
Monday - Left overs - Pork Fried Rice
Tuesday - Taco's
Wednesday - Crispy Lamb

2MapleMuffins · 12/01/2020 16:30

looks great- what is crispy lamb?

Basically left over roast lamb, cooked with onions with oregano and lemon juice. Served in a wrap with lettuce.

It was a way to use leftovers lamb as we don't eat it cold.

I look at what we have in the cupboards and think about what I can make that will use up that without me having to buy a ton of stuff.

It really helps with budgeting. We try to keep our food shop below 300 for the month, that's for 3 adults and a toddler. Not including lunches for two of the adults and the toddler. We also are dairy and gluten free which makes things more expensive!

Meal plan for this week

Monday - oven cooked chicken with rice or potatoes and veg. I make my own gravy

Tuesday & Wednesday - tuna pasta bake

Thursday & Friday - chicken curry

I don't plan for the weekends as we're out a lot so usually just end up deciding on the day.

Stravapalava · 12/01/2020 17:14

Mushroom chilli
Chickpea and spinach curry
Gammon, root veg chips and something else, not sure what yet, maybe peas & sweetcorn
Tuna pasta
Beetroot risotto
Pizza, salad, garlic bread

2MapleMuffins · 12/01/2020 17:14

I could really do with budgeting and using up what we have in the cupboard already.
