I'm up because I'm feeling anxious and I slept until 1pm yesterday so I'm not tired yet.Sad Have to get up at 8 so that should be fun!

Baby having 4 month sleep regression is sleeping on me and now the bread-maker is clanging away downstairs. Hopefully will go back to sleep/manage to get baby asleep in his crib soon!

MAFIL · 10/01/2020 03:27

I'm kind of in the same boat. I'm currently waiting for surgery for a very painful orthopaedic problem and I struggle to sleep at night despite my painkillers. Then I doze in the day which adds to the problem. I've been out tonight taking my son to his sports practice and standing in the cold always makes my pain worse so tonight is particularly bad. I think I will go down and get a glass of warm milk and listen to some relaxing music as that sometimes helps. Maybe you coukd try that?
I hope you feel better soon. Insomnia is horrible and so is anxiety. Flowers

Have taken steroids due to asthma and slept till 3 today. Now wide awake, I keep coughing and waking my DH as tablets making me wee more!

Bunbunbunny · 10/01/2020 03:31

Op are awake as you're anxious about being up in time?

32flavours · 10/01/2020 03:39

I’m 37 weeks pregnant and can’t get comfortable/ need to pee all the time. Hope the anxiety eases and you’re able to get some more sleep before morning.

cliffsofabandon · 10/01/2020 03:41

Feeding 9 week old and in pain from my sciatica.

elaine26 · 10/01/2020 03:42

Hideous meeting at work tomorrow/later

chocolateteapot20 · 10/01/2020 03:52

The schnozzles, I mean cats, decided it was time for an early breakfast and chased my feet/jumped on my head until I gave in. They do this sometimes. Especially after Christmas when the usual routine is disrupted. They are demonic creatures of torture with razor sharp teeth and warm tongues. Now debating whether to try to get back to sleep or get up...

Angie6868 · 10/01/2020 03:59

I needed a wee. Then fancied a cup of tea. Then the cat jumped on me. Going to try to go back to sleep now 💤💤

happymrsc · 10/01/2020 04:00

25 weeks pregnant, full of a cold, headache and ears buzzing. Oh and some reflux and nausea for good measure. 😭

Number3or4 · 10/01/2020 04:01

I’m diabetic and my sugar went low and it woke me up to correct it. I’m happy to say, I didn’t eat everything in the fridge. Only stating that as I have been getting hunger hypoglycaemia symptoms lately more regularly. When I got one of those I can’t stop eating. I had a nice symptom of dreaming about food (I was chasing a delicious chocolate doughnut but I don’t normally like doughnuts) and then waking up seeing my hand shaking. Now I’m just waiting for my body to calm down so I could sleep.

myidentitymycrisis · 10/01/2020 04:01

A strange, loud noise woke me

Ffsnosexallowed · 10/01/2020 04:05

I got a new job yesterday, had a bottle of prosecco, am now too excited to get back to sleep

lilsquish · 10/01/2020 04:07

feeding 8 month old

Milbo · 10/01/2020 04:11

My 18 month old has decided it’s morning and will not go back to sleep. I hadn’t been to sleep yet as I’m suffering with insomnia due to anxiety. It’s going to be a long night.

crazycatlady7 · 10/01/2020 04:13

Feeding my 11 week old baby- he keeps waking ever feeling hours for a feed... missing the long stretches of sleep!

Gruffalosandbuffalos · 10/01/2020 04:14

A million things running through my mind; mainly money based.

Zooeymama123 · 10/01/2020 04:14

my mums funeral was yesterday, stayed over at my parents house so my dad didn't have to be alone and have suddenly found myself wide awake, thinking about mum and just how much I am missing her, cant see myself going back to sleep.

HeronLanyon · 10/01/2020 04:18

Flowerszooey really sorry to hear that and sending you support. I lost my lovely old ma a year ago and miss her badly. She’d want you to be ok. Take one small part of each day at a time. It is so tough but so are we sometimes.

I’m not sleeping at the moment due to back trouble and jet lag. Honestly don’t know what time or even month it is. Not a fan of ‘Winter sun’ (for lots of reasons) - it’s buggered up my whole internal clock and calendar !

olivetreelane · 10/01/2020 04:19

It's becoming a bit of a 3-4am habit and it's frustrating as I spend all day with a heavy head! 😴

elaine26 · 10/01/2020 04:19

Poor kid just been sick again and I'm up at 7:30 to take DD to school DS will be going nowhere

sillysmiles · 10/01/2020 04:19

Oh zooeymama123 sorry to hear that.

I'm awake because my dog called me because he needed to go outside to get sick. No idea why he needed to get sick but at least he called me and it was outside.

Trethew · 10/01/2020 04:23

Upset guts. Trying to work out what I ate that caused it

prettycolours · 10/01/2020 04:23

Got made redundant recently and haven't been able to find another job yet. Having no structure has completely messed up my sleeping patterns and I've become pretty much nocturnal. It can be peaceful this time of night but it gets a bit lonely.
