All killa no filla- two british female comedians chatting about serial killers, but often go off on wild tangents.

CoolCarrie · 11/01/2020 21:39

Dear Joan and Jerica is very rude and very funny, definitely don’t listen with children around!

The Big Travel.

Got me through Christmas and NY. Lovely interviews with so many different people about their travels. Escapism 101.

Well for me anyway.

BreakfastAtSquiffanys · 11/01/2020 21:44

@Burplecutter I use Castbox. Works well for me

Autumnchill · 11/01/2020 21:48

If I had to choose from my whole list then I always revert to No Such Thing As A Fish. If I could have two choices then News Quiz onRadio 4, I listen to that 4/5 times a week

Gossipmongers - they read out unsubstantiated gossip that has been emailed in. It's simple, but wonderful.

Satsuma2 · 11/01/2020 21:54

The High Low
Desert Island Discs

GonnaBeMaayy · 11/01/2020 21:54

I really like
Little Rituals

And also
The No Sleep Podcast.

Talk about polar opposites

HelloDoris · 11/01/2020 22:11

Off menu - James Acaster and Ed Gamble talk food with a guest.
Gossip mongers - puerile nonsense def not suitable for children but laugh out loud comedy (SPACEWORM).

HelloDoris · 11/01/2020 22:14

Horne section - musical podcast with a guest, songs and games galore
Walking the dog - Emily Dean gentle chats with celebrity guests about dogs and other stuff
Racechaser - Alaska and Willam - each episode of drag race dissected and just total nonsense.
David Tennant, grief cast, like minded friends..

There are loads, I listen for an episode or 2 and if I like I carry on, if not I try something else.

Jamie and Doug were on the first season of Married at First Sight USA. I love them.

metalmutha · 12/01/2020 13:51

Off menu with James Acaster and Ed Gamble is hilarious, great guests too..
Another vote for Shagged, Married, Annoyed here too
I also like the Parcast serial killer series, really interesting
Happy listening.

I like politics, business, medicine & science ones.
All the President's Lawyers, Rachel Maddow
Brexitcast, Pienaar's politics, Broadcasting House, WATO, Wake up to Money
Politics Live (can listen to as a podcast)
Loads of science programmes on Beeb but I haven't settled on any one as regular... there's one I caught half of today about how geopolitics will change if oil dependence reduces, must track that down.

True Crime or stories about real people being individually hurt or victims of injustice hugely upset me. I can't get the appeal at all.

lljkk · 12/01/2020 15:01

Normally I don't like Desert Island Discs, but I may look up today's broadcast, I quite like the author & he was funny what I did hear on today's on BBC-R-4.
