A nice thing just happened....

I went to brush my teeth and my DH had put new batteries in my electric toothbrush. Shiny, smooth teeth tonight!
So, What’s your nice thing?

DP had the tea ready when I got home from work. Nothing fancy, just pieces with bacon and sausage but it was nice to come home to something warm and comforting to eat.

DH ran me a bath with a lovely sleepy bath soak so I can watch the Bletchley Circle while wallowing in steam and hot water and then fall asleep easily (I have a hard time falling asleep)

Yum, bacon and sausage dinner ready, DP is a keeper!

Also I made a really nice dinner AND the kids inhaled it AND it included a green vegetable so I'm feeling pretty mellow

Non-bather here, but I appreciate the thought

And also dinner going down a treat!

DH called me into the kitchen for 'a surprise' - it was apple crumble and custard, amazing!

The extra challenging child ren in my class actually did their work today without overturning tables and battering people. We had a lovely day and everyone went out smiling!! Yay! Let's hope it continues!

Dh here is a devil for pieces - we're from NI!

I had my first ever dinner party and everyone liked my cooking.

Well done @Chocolatemice . Bet it was yummy. My CPD that I have spent weeks preparing went really well yesterday and people seemed to enjoy it.

Will you lot stop pestering me with food? Had a lovely lasagne for tea, bit of Christmas cake and a cuppa, now feeling peckish.
Thankful I have shiny teeth and can’t be bothered to go downstairs and graze
