What bores you the most?

Prime minister questions.

Politics and in particular, people arguing about politics. And even more particularly, the contempt that one faction has for another.

DH telling about a job he’s done and how difficult it was. It means nothing to me.

Cricket, golf, snooker, football, rugby,

Politics, so dull

Putting clothes away.

People boasting.

Cereal.

People at work who only have one topic and will turn any conversation around to that topic. Said topic is usually their kids or for others, when they are next going out drinking. 😴

My dh works on and manages repairs on pipes that is Eroded/ing bet nobody can beat that for dullness the stories god almighty the stories

Another vote for Formula One.

Children's films. I don't care how many clever little tweaks and asides they've made that'll go 'whoosh' over kids heads and have the adults rolling in the aisles. I'd rather stick forks in my eyes than endure them.

Other mothers in my children's class talking about homework, classwork, minutae of the day.

So so much. I have a very low boredom threshold.

pro-tennis.... DC's video games... people who talk in circles & never say anything.

I have no school children anymore I don't miss the school "chat" 1 bit there is always one parent overly involved ! In my experience it was the dads

Luvvie gong shows.

Yes, Golden Globes I'm looking at you. And upcoming Oscars you have side eye.

Diving people going on about their diving trips. And doing competitive who dived the most "out there" dive spot discussions. Whilst wearing their special dive t-shirts.

And showing me their 300 diving photos. Yes, it's a blue blurry photo with a clownfish. Yes, it's you making the "OK" signal under water. Yes, it's another blue blurry photo with a Pacific Blue Tang. Yes, it's you with your arms crossed over your chest underwater. They. All. Look. The. Same.

My ex was a dive instructor. And a dive bore. Go on your diving holiday. Enjoy it. Bit for god's sake don't think everyone gives a crap about how long your tank lasted and how few air bubbles you emitted.

Ditto Ski bores. They can fuck off too.

Work. Every job I’ve had. Even though I work in quite a heavy sector with often quite dramatic events. It just all bores me and I’d rather be at home.

People telling you a long story about someone they vaguely know who you've never met

People talking about people I don’t know.

Politics.

Diets.

Overly long tv series. 8/10 episodes could have be done in 6.
Work. Any job I’ve ever had I’d rather be at home.

People going on and on and on about themselves, not pausing for anything.

Most sport and sports people talking about their PBs.

People talking about the gym and what weights they lift at the gym.

People who take ages to get to the point, especially when you worked it out within 5 seconds.

Meetings where the chair insists they have to go on for the allotted time despite everyone saying what they need to say.

People (usually men) who drone on about work and how ‘driven’ or ‘successful’ they are when in a social setting. Get a life, you sad bastards.
