I would say Prawn , can't stand it.

Any kind of fish/seafood (I cannot abide fish, the smell makes me heave. Can't have it in my house.)

All pre-packages sandwiches.
They're usually covered in mayo (another one that I absolutely cannot abide ) and if not, the bread sticks to the top of your mouth.

Gross.

Can't eat store tuna sandwiches, dry or chicken ones as the meat always looks gross. I'd say blt and prawn ones too.

I'm happy with egg and cress but since I got pregnant can't stand egg.

Egg, the smell alone

I do t like marmalade sandwiches, or peanut butter ones. Too claggy.

Anything with fresh tomato in, or lots of mayo. Just don't like it. Not keen on plain sandwich ham or plain cheese either.

I like pickles, some coronation chicken ones (one served in onion seed bread is nice), egg and cress, and my favourite is probably tuna crunch (onion, red peppers, tuna). If melted, I love brie and bacon, or cheese and ham panini. I'll try most things once.

Anything with lettuce or tomato next to the bread. Soggy bread is a total abomination.

Banana and chocolate spread or peanut butter and banana.

I don’t like many prepackaged sandwiches to be honest. I’m an awkward sod with the palette of a toddler (texture issues/ASD, I’m working on it). If it’s made at home or from a deli where I can choose I fare better.

As a rule of thumb though, if someone is grabbing me one I ask for the plainest going, as mayo and fish just ruin sandwiches.

I really want a turkey/pastrami and mustard sandwich now though.

Hate both eggs and prawns. But I cannot even stomach the sight of an egg sandwich so will vote that as my absolute worst

I don't like prawn either, Tazzy. I don't eat any shell fish or crustaceans so never had a prawn sandwich, prawn cocktail or fish pie with shrimp or prawn in it.

My late mother in law and late husband both liked something I can't even bear the look or smell of - 'sandwich spread'. It's basically salad cream with bits in, I've never in my life liked salad cream so not surprising I don't like that. I do like mayonnaise which has quite a different flavour. Egg mayo and cress sandwiches are a favourite of mine (sorry, I know this thread isn't about 'favourites', quite the opposite).

I had a bacon bap bought at BP garage shop recently - it was OK but had stringy, fatty bits in it which was disappointing. I don't mind fat on bacon but this was - well - stringy is the only way I can describe it. I had to pull the stringy bits off. Not complaining though, the rest of it was nice.

Cheese and onion. Cheese is delicious, raw onion is disgusting , so what you've done there is completely waste the cheese.

Anything with diced cucumber. Sainsbury's are repeat offenders for this, too often I'd buy a sandwich or wrap that should have been nice but they've spoiled it with those evil green cubes everywhere, too small to pick out. So I don't buy sandwiches there any more.

I don't know what egg mayonnaise tastes like, I've never had it, because I expect I won't like it. (I'm picky about eggs, if they're boiled or fried I only eat the yolks, and scrambled needs to be a good recipe.)

Coronation chicken

Egg or prawn. I can eat eggs in cakes and prawns in anything Chinese but in sandwiches... bleurgh! 🤢

My DH loves sandwich spread, always has it in the house.

Jam or sandwich spread (I love salad cream though). Jam is only for scones and cakes.

I can't think of any supermarket type sandwich that I wouldn't eat.

Egg mayo yuck! I used to live near the factory that made the meat paste in those little pots, that absolutely stunk so I would never eat a meat paste sandwich, although it is not so common now anyway.

Tuna mayo, never enough mayo.
