People who spend 20+ minutes wagging in about how busy they are

inefficient working. One PA doesn't know how to mail merge, and will spend a day doing 30 letters instead of the 30 minutes it should take.

Trying to talk to me about sports zzzzzzzz

The 3 minute story of why they're ringing me for help with their computer, before finally getting to what's wrong. Eg " morning Binary, I was late into work today and switched the pc on. The traffic was awfil. I went and got a cup of tea. And came back to my desk. Now I need to finish a report today. The deadline is tomorrow and I e still got 3 classes to write and marking. So I logo in and try to open my emails, because parent A was moaning about something......"
OMG just tell me what isn't working!!!

I have a negative nancy at work, she's fucking exhausting. For every single new idea Implemented or put forward she'll immediately list 100 reasons why it won't work. This woman can see the downside to absolutely everything, complains about the boss/company/colleagues non stop and gets away with it because our boss and manager are based at another site. I'm looking for another job despite the fact I actually love my job and all my other colleagues because I just can't cope with that level of negativity in my life.

The self elected 'helper'- don't worry, Janet will help you with that- with everything, even things I can quite easily do myself. And everyone else gushing about how amazing and helpful Janet is. But secretly it grinds everyone's gears that when the very limited promotion opportunities come up Janet has carved out a little role for herself being the one that the whole department will crumble without because she knows how to photocopy double sided.

@Ithinkwerealonenowtiffany Asda sell a carton of camels milk in their world food section. Buy a carton, decant camel milk, refill with regular milk.
No one wants a camel milk latte, surely?

People who only answer the first question in an e-mail when it contains several questions!

The guy who offers me a cup of tea a billion times a day despite me telling him that I don't drink tea in the office and he doesn't need to ask me every time he makes one.

I no longer work in an office environment but these things used to really irritate me -

People who constantly eat at their desk. I get sometimes you need to work through lunch but there were a few people in my team who would literally just sit eating all day, every day. Constant eating noises, licking fingers and the russelling of food packaging used to infuriate me.

People who would make fish in the microwave, thus stinking out the entire room for the rest of the day. Even worse if they then ate it at their desk

Constant charity collections - I give a monthly amount to charity by DD yet people look at you in horror if you dare to decline one of the several weekly raffles, dress down days or bake sale cakes

Monday Club - the serial offenders who regularly party all weekend then coincidentally fall ill on a Monday

I have more but I'll leave it there Grin

Ask new starters if they "just want to quickly do x task" then disappear as fast as they can leaving the person to do a shitty task which they will struggle with, because the more experienced staff member can't be bothered and think they can just delegate the shit tasks to newbies.

People (generally younger people) that come in all loud and dramatic 'oh my god you won't be believe what happened last night blah blah blah'. Me- I neither believe nor care, you're late, crack on with your work.

My old manager (lawyer) used to yell BOOM!!! Really loudly when he reached settlement with the other side or found a point of law that we could successfully rely on. Did my head in.

The workshy ones that do F all but manage to cover their tracks so cleverly that it looks like they are actually busy (Googling/on phone).
