I’m still awake, Dh and the Dc all sound. Just can’t switch off and sleep. Anyone else about?

Me! Haven't gone to bed yet.

Onceuponatimethen · 03/01/2020 00:18

Me! I’ve screwed up my sleep pattern staying up too late on NYE and then sleeping in

ClientListQueen · 03/01/2020 00:18

Me, full of some crappy virus tonsillitis thing

Onceuponatimethen · 03/01/2020 00:19

Boo Client - sounds nasty Flowers

LatteLover12 · 03/01/2020 00:19

Me! Just returned to the sofa. Me and DP can't sleep. I've offered to head back downstairs as he's at work in the morning.

RUSU92 · 03/01/2020 00:20

I was awake until 4am last night so I'm not tired yet! Was watching The Crown on Netflix and couldn't stop Grin

What's keeping you up?

Defender90 · 03/01/2020 00:20

Awake but bordering on nodding off.

Never slept last night so I'll either be awake or konked out.

I saw a fella use the pull along basket in the co-op today and it's a first for me. Do you see them used?

Danni12 · 03/01/2020 00:20

Me, insomnia

Idontkowmyname · 03/01/2020 00:20

@ClientListQueen hope you start to feel better soon. Perhaps and excuse to eat ice cream and jelly and claim it’s for medicinal purposes!

OP posts:
Idontkowmyname · 03/01/2020 00:21

@Danni12 insomnia sucks! Even with that help of a sedative I still didn’t sleep one night. And given these things need to be used sparingly it was a little frustrating

I just had a raspberry ice lolly Grin am catching up on designated survivor

thistimeofyear · 03/01/2020 00:23

I am - I napped a lot this afternoon when I was supposed to be doing loads of sorting out in the house - just couldn’t keep my eyes open - now I can’t keep them shut!!!

Horsemad · 03/01/2020 00:24

I really need to move myself and get stuff out of the tumble dryer (in the garage)...

MollysMummy2010 · 03/01/2020 00:24

@Defender90 I used one of those on Christmas Eve as could not be arsed to go to a proper supermarket so got my shop in coop!

thistimeofyear · 03/01/2020 00:26

I use the pull along trolleys sometimes!🤪esp in Lidl when I haven’t got a pound coin - which is a right pain as you can’t take them to your car as the alarm goes off 😂

LatteLover12 · 03/01/2020 00:26

I'm tired but can't nod off. Living on cheese and trifle is taking its toll 😂

Rainingdogsandcats · 03/01/2020 00:27

defender90 I use those all the time. Hate carrying baskets.

I've just come up but scrolling on here for a bit. We've had houseguests all week so no phone time. Just been decorating a cake and making cake popsicles for my dad's baby shower on Saturday.

EffYouSeeKaye · 03/01/2020 00:27

I always use the pull-along basket. Otherwise the ordinary baskets cut the blood off in my arm. Probably buying heavy stuff. wine

Idontkowmyname · 03/01/2020 00:27

@RUSU92 just lots going on at the moment so can’t switch off. Wishing my gym was 24 hour so I could go do a workout then come home and fall asleep

Rainingdogsandcats · 03/01/2020 00:28

Not my dad's baby shower Grin. Dd's

namechangenumber2 · 03/01/2020 00:28

I'm awake and feeling like I could do the night shift! Every new year I'm like this, we always have family to visit and stay up until 3/4am so it takes days for me to get back into a better routine Grin

Horsemad · 03/01/2020 00:28

I did wonder for a minute, Raining! 😆

MrsTumbletap · 03/01/2020 00:31

DH and DS sound asleep, so I have come back downstairs to the sofa. I have thrown my sleep pattern out by staying up and getting up late.

Glad you are all here, hi!

MrsTumbletap · 03/01/2020 00:32

Has anybody else here had a week (or more) off over xmas?

thistimeofyear · 03/01/2020 00:32

Did anyone see A Christmas Carol with Guy Pearce - I thought it was brilliant - very well acted and a great take on an old story
