Best Deodorant Recommendation Please

DesdemonaDryEyes · 02/01/2020 23:32

Since going through the menopause I find my deodorant just isn’t doing the job.

Any recommendations for what’s best?

Green mitchum roll on

AnnoyingSatsumaInMyStocking · 02/01/2020 23:37

Stop using shower gel and start using proper soap and a flannel to get really clean pits.
Then try the Mitchum spray.

raspberryk · 02/01/2020 23:39

Any Mitcham, I like the cream stick 48hr

Mitchum is really good, the green roll on one.

DesdemonaDryEyes · 02/01/2020 23:42

I use soap and a scrubber thing to do my armpits.

Thanks for the Mitcham recommendation. Never heard of it.

Another vote for mitchem. I'd never use anything else.

definitelyshouldknowbetter · 02/01/2020 23:56

Mitchum here too, I use the fragrance free one

RainbowMum11 · 03/01/2020 00:02

Mitchum

NumbersStation · 03/01/2020 00:04

Proper soap for washing and TripleDry. Mitchum didn’t work for me but TripleDry sorted me right out.

DramaAlpaca · 03/01/2020 00:04

Yet another vote for fragrance-free Mitchum roll-on antiperspirant, after my morning shower.

DeRigueurMortis · 03/01/2020 00:05

Another vote for Green mitchum roll on or the stick.

DotBall · 03/01/2020 00:14

Right Guard Total Defence 5 (version aimed at men not women) works for me, post menopause.

MopsRUs · 03/01/2020 00:14

Yes, Mitchum roll-on or stick. I used to use other brands but after I was 35-ish they stopped working reliably for some reasonConfused I have a theory that they're more dilute these days, a bit like how chocolate bars were made smaller Grin

sniffysnifferson · 03/01/2020 00:15

Aldi roll on. Mitchum does nothing for me,.but aldi roll on is amazing!

Nat6999 · 03/01/2020 00:23

Mitchum, I use the spray under my arms & the unperfumed gel for all my chubby bits where skin rubs on skin, gets damp & causes fungal infections.

Dangermouse80 · 03/01/2020 00:32

Men's right guard or Sure deodorants. For some reason all women's versions don't last on me!!

chocolatespiders · 03/01/2020 00:34

Sure or dove maximum protection when mitchum stopped working for me.

MopsRUs · 03/01/2020 01:51

That's interesting @chocolatespiders Those two were the main ones I used before they stopped working!

NYnachos · 03/01/2020 01:53

Triple dry here!

dudsville · 03/01/2020 05:11

Mitchum fragrance free stick here. I've also used the spray. It worked but I don't like aerosols.

Sherloidbaisherloid · 03/01/2020 08:12

I used mitchum for years but it stopped working. The spray one was better as I found I had to sit with my arms up with the roll on to let it dry. If it didn’t dry completely my armpits felt sticky and gross all day. Now use dove, they work fantastic and smell amazing

DesdemonaDryEyes · 03/01/2020 08:32

I wonder why they stop working?

OP posts:
ValkyrieCain · 03/01/2020 08:46

I make my own from coconut oil, shea butter, cornflour and bicarb. Works a treat.

shinynewapple2020 · 03/01/2020 08:51

Another one for Mitchum

Sunnysidegold · 03/01/2020 10:04

I also use mitchum. I like the baby powder scented stick
